Sadly so many love stories centered movies and other genre movies also have these "nice guy" characters where I am downright appalled by their behaviour towards their partners who dictate who and what a "good woman is and what she does and doesn't do". They have thrashed progressive women so many times. And even more sad is the fact that many female audience lap up these male characters as romantic guys and wish for them in their lives😳

I have female friends to whom I have to defend that Kabir singh's behavior was shit and it's not romantic.

I have seen Parvathy questioning Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh characters and their deliberate glorifications by the makers. Kudos to her!

Cinema is a powerful medium where if male abusive lovers like these are romanticized in real life settings and communities than the guys in the country get reinforcements to behave like this and gullible girls don't see the harm in such men as they are made "doctors" so if they are academically good than dab much maaf.

We see such toxic "Aashiq" in news when they harass and harm the girls they like if the girls reject the proposal in daily basis🥱 We have had enough trouble with these men and are scared already with these kind. We do not need any more romanticization of such characters

I heard about Dhanush’s brilliant performance in Rahjana so I decided to check out some clips before I watched the film. Instead of being focused on his supposedly brilliant performance. I was focused Sonam’s bad one. She is nowhere close to Deepika. Neerja is the only decent work I have seen from Sonam. I still other actresses could have done it better.

Sorry I can’t get through the entire movie if her acting was consistently that bad ! I was laughing ! It was suppose to be an emotional scene.
