Unpopular opinion: Deepika is a very good actress

So today I was binge-watching Deepika's movies and must say I liked her performances in each and every movie I saw. Ranging from Om Shanti Om to Piku, her acting is subtle, restrained, and varies acc. to the character she plays. What a versatile actress⭐️

Yes, I didn't like her perf. in Padmavat - that was a weak perf. But apart from that, her filmography is studded with gems since 2012 Cocktail.

I think I had actually started to believe what the forum says that she is an average actress, so I just wanted to refresh my memory. And boy, was I pleasantly surprised. Even in a movie like Kartik Calling Kartik, she easily overshadowed Farhan in every scene they were together.

She is one of those rare actresses with good screen presence,looks, charisma, X-factor and acting chops. I am proud to be her fan❤️

Yes she is phenomenal actress, one of the greatest actor ever. Me being a jealous Katrina fan has made it an agenda to defame the great, precious Deepika.

LOL think of it - as a Katrina fan how can you "defame" Deepika for her acting? And of course Deepika is phenomenal compared to Kitty Kat

I cannot make Katrina better, but I can make Deepika worse than most. And that is what me and everyone else is doing in the forum.

Deepika is a good actress. Piku is one of my fav movie and I believe is deepika’s best performance. She was also really good in RL, Tamasha, Cocktail, Chennai Express, YJHD. I remember both YJHD and Chennai Express as Deepika’s movies and not RK and SRK’s tbh.

Having said that, the likes of Priyanka and Kangana are better actresses than Deepika.

She is a better actress off-screen than on-screen 😆
