I used to procrastinate when I was younger and would write down a script. Not a word of a lie, my paper would look like this:

Hi, how are you? *wait for them to respond*, oh that's good to hear, I'm well thank you. I'd like to enquire about a phone bill that I've received *they are going to ask you for your account number*, Oh yes, my account number is *******.

So you could imagine how much I needed them to follow MY script because if they go off tangent & not according to plan, then my whole written conversation would be screwed up 🤣

Me: Hi how are you?

Telephone support: Hi, can I start off with your account number please?

Me: Oh ah ah um, s-s-ure, wait aren't you supposed to tell me how YOU are and ask how I am!? (I wouldn't really say that LOL but I'd buckle the rest of the conversation because she ruined my script mojo)

BTW this was me at like 15-16 yrs old. Now I don't even remember why I've made a call and sometimes would be like how can I help you? and the person on the other line would be like 'uh you called me?' 😆
