Kaate Nahi is the sexiest song till date without skin shows and physical touch. The way Sri danced ,expressed ,it was like camera was capturing the enigma. I love both Madhuri and Sri but Sri had a magic in her onscreen persona.

and to think of it, she was having high fever during the final shoot of the song. Sri can take anyone for a ride through her dance performances.

For this Hawa Hawaii, I remember Vidya mentioning this in her interview about how director confesssd to her that shooting Sri was the most difficult part for them, because Sri expressed through her entire body, and the director was not sure if they capture her face, some of her body steps would be missed, and if they focus on her entire body movements, they'd miss out on her impeccable expressions. Hence for them Sri really made the final cuts very difficult.

Madhuri would make me sit back and still me with her finesse dance steps. She still does.

Sridevi would make me forget she is Sridevi. I would b lost in the character she is portraying. That is magical. Miss this performer.😔

"Ek do teen" all the way, and not only because it is still one of people's favourite songs to emulate. It is used very cleverly in the narrative, prefiguring what will happen, so the actress/dancer can express everything here: comedy, sadness, irritation, frustration. Hawa Hawai is catchy, but did not age well visually. The blackface and the costume are cringe-inducing.

Ignore blackface the dance it’s one of greatest tracks maybe most famous item track of the 80s.
