Tho on serious note - this is the issue naa!

Nepo kids get gigantic PR, publicity, huge platform to promote their products so audience is familiar with their products - while outsiders have very limited resources for such an outreach! They get low budgeted products, minimal promotion and very limited exposure. And then some have the audacity to question why outsiders' teasers not being watched - Well duhhh you guys kinda proved the entire debate by highlighting this mere dichotomy!

err the highly promoted kalank songs have lesser views than some Punjabi or Tamil/ Telugu songs made with 1/10th budget and no promotions or marketing ...

If there is an audience keenly waiting for content from an actor and hence follows them, him / her posting a trailer will be viewed by them..

Now if more ppl follow the dharma twitter page for updates than zee5 who produced this movie and posted abt it...then who are we to point fingers abt trailers not being marketed enough?

Ananya gets a SOTY and Pati Patni - Compare the budget, PR, exposure, platform she got vs Vidyut's movie you guys are using as an example and you'll have your answer!


If Vidyut or any other outsider gets similar PR, hype, exposure - those threads would have hit many more pages and that I am sure about!

Prestige projects + PR, in addition to pitaji ka naam are the key differentiators.

Pitaji ka naam is literally their janmasiddh adhikar, which is fine. But the problem occurs when prestige projects are snatched by unfair means... And when PR starts attacking outsiders seen as threat, below the belt....

Teaser is at 5.7 million views which was released 5 days ago.

And trailer released 19 hour ago with 1.5 mil views .

Correct the mistakes.

Everybody is at fault accept the audience.😆. Star Kids, PR, Media, Production houses all are at fault but audience is not. Let the next Dharma movie release if there any grain of truth in this hate wave then the movie should be ignored but my gut feeling tells me it wont be and if it does well then people will come up with another set of excuses about how they are forced to watch Dharma movies.

Bullying, snatching projects and all are different issues all together that need to be condemned without a doubt - And thanks to likes of us who have taken a stand, hope this becomes a minimal practice even if for the time being!


Here ofc we are dealing with another issue why outsiders' projects aren't highlighted - Well the amount of exposure Nepotism comes with in their package deal is completely different than what outsiders get in theirs - Ofc difference toh hona hi hain! Budget, PR, type of platform used, how well it is being promoted etc etc all makes a huge difference!

Wasn't there a recent outrage where Alia, AB Jr were highlighted while like of Khemu and Vidyut weren't even invited for the promotional activity?! Well that itself says it all about the difference in treatment and how certain sector gets highlighted more than others, which Ofc ends up affecting the end results of their products!

Zee is promoting the show, you see it in ads of Zee TV, Zee Cinema and also youtube clips of Zee channels. That is the reach of over 55 millions of social media accounts. Social media was flooded with people hating on Tiger, and wanting Vidyut in Baaghi4.

Leave social media as a whol, take this forum.

Does PR and promotions play a great deal? Yes. But we than again saw PR and promotions did nothing for Commando series either.

How much can we blame pr and promotions for the non success of a film/ content? Badhai ho came with no promotions and so did andhadhun an both wee hits at the box office

Ppl respond to content ...and if they genuinely are interested in an actor they will follow them and give their films the respect deserved...like what happens with shahid in ks, kangana in Manikarnika, twm series, queen etc



The media goes by ppls favourites and gives them attn..if ppl stop favouring the “underserving ones” media wont hype then either ...eg no one gives an eff abt arjun Kapoor no matter what movies he does.

How do you generally come to know a teaser has been released? I assume because you follow the actors, youtube channels, maybe some trade people or media accounts. Well, Yaara has been posted on all of those accounts so then why didn't you come to know about it?

Let's see what happens' with 'Dil Bechara' . Atleast no one can claim they didn't know this movie released. Lets see if people can actually take out two hrs from their life to see this movie despite the entertainment value.
