Everyone who wasn't even related to this was getting threats and abuses. With time, the fire usually dies down. BUT, in this situation, it has not. It got worse hense the action.

No it also add harassment among other things. Even I hope you mother gets raped is not a rape threat. I hope you get cancer is not either. They are bad things to say. But they are not illegal.
