Its the same everywhere... its spreading like wildfire! We were asked to go to work , ans we did for aprox a month... that's when it was stable here, the moment everyone where up and running it has spread beyond out thinking. Now we are back WFH.

Usually all the places that were opened it showed effect after a month for eg.texas.

Which only means that people took precautions and safety measures outside and also ppl chose to stay at home for first week or two, once they get settled , more people were out on street and precautions were forgotten.

Like how many times ppl were washing hands initially but now it's not that being followed that strictly.

Sorry for butting in but Learnt is not an official usage...Learned is the correct word for it! Learnt is more colloquial....

I think learnt is a formal usage in British English . I think Canada and USA use learned ..in India learnt is commonly used as a past participle. This is my understanding. So it's not entirely wrong. Apologies for butting in :)

Right.

Learnt is mostly used by anybody who studies British English, most people in India would use it only unless they are affected by American media.

Agreed, we use learned to say professor xyz is a learned person etc, I learnt to bake a cake last weekend etc.

That being said we should never mock someone on the bases of language, it's really low! Correcting is different from mocking.
