Consummating with the lead and sharing an offspring with him /her does not make them the parallel lead .
They are an important chr .Thats all .
I guess by defining themselves ,some actors may even try to mislead the viewers n ardent fans .
Who Knows ?Perhaps some sizzling chemistry n great chr portrayal might show through for some fans .
Kzk was my mom's fav show back then. She liked Bajaj-Prerna more than Anu-Prerna. Initially Bajaj was brought in as an important supporting character but because of Ronit Roy, the character garnered huge popularity. If you look closely, KZK after Bajaj entry is a story of Bajaj- Prerna with Any being the sulking, crying Devdas in a corner. Bajaj became not just a lead but bigger than the show, that's why Anu Prerna reunion never happened in KZK, only in the last epi and after their death that happened.
I don't know about the current season. Don't know the status of Bajaj, how much importance EK will give to this new version Bajaj. But one thing is clear, Ek would not have paid three times of leads' pay to actor playing just an important character i.e. KP/KSG 3 Lacs/epi vs Parth/Erica 1 lac/epi.
