Chichore was more fun and the emotional scenes tugged your heart.

For me personally gullyboy was the better film . I have seen it a couple of times .. it Infact was my favourite film last year.

I liked chichore too . Lovely film with a good message .. but this wasn’t sushant’s strongest film .

Gully boy was better in terms of technical values. Camera work, shot breakdowns, performances , production design...it was more subtle and had more finesse in the way it was presented.

Also gully boy made less than chichore in the domestic market by around 20 crores. But it made far more money worldwide beating it out in the overall collections including worldwide
Naveen polishetty (acid) stood out for me the most in chichore and ofcourse it was an easy breezy film so that helped too:

Box office results are given on the basis of the domestic circuit not international...if international was the criteria then Kalank shud be considered a hit since it did so well in UK.

Sonchiriya is the film that should be compared to Gully Boy.

This!!

Sonchiriya is superior though.

Both were good

Ranveer was good in the film but Siddhant in all their scenes overshadowed him maybe it was because of their characters. But the bitter taste that this film left was alia winning best actress for this film. She had 15 to 20 mts max in the whole film

And what was so great about her character or performance she was just the romance angle. The film had many high points she was hardly part of any.

Chichore was a whole entertainment package with a good message. I laughed so much in so many scenes and the ending was so amazing the film has repeat value which I hardly find in films now a days

Chhichore for me.

I watched gully boy in the theaters and couldn't sit through the entire movie. Its kinda boring. Honestly Ranveer is good in the movie and thats about it.

Chicchore I watched at home but I haven't paused or skipped even for a second ( I do skip a lot). Sushant was great in two different generations. The movie especially is a team effort and its the team of Chicchore that I enjoyed watching. Hence this over that anyday.
