Who do you think has achieved more nationally and internationally?

Ash cannot be equaled forget by priyanka but by many in many more decades

Because hollywood comes knocking for Ash to do roles like in Helen of troy movie etc and she can reject such movies

Priyanka has to go and do auditions and do PR to get a small role in baywatch etc

Hollywood wants Ash in their movies and in their award shows

Priyanka does PR etc to get into those award shows

Well Priyanka has achieved more. But ash is the one who started this whole hollywood thing for actresses-atleast being a familiar face and star and going into a new industry I mean. She was the first one to enter as a star, and her beauty is recognized all over the world.

Ash made Indians get international recognition. She basically did the groundwork for everyone who is now in Hollywood. Had she not given up on those major projects in the West then probably she would've been a Hollywood star by now living in L.A.

That being said, Priyanka got the mainstream success she rightly deserves. Heading an ABC Primetime show was not a joke and I enjoyed her work. She was called to various shows and events because of her popularity. Also she's in a space in her life right now where she can take a breather and enjoy. Had she done the move during Dostana she would've done various romcoms and chick flicks there.

PS: I just realised both the women are outsiders, have an army connection and won Miss World. 😲

Aishwarya Rai was like the rite of passage that gave leeway for others to venture out. Also, Aish was given the opportunity to work with Brad Pitt but declined because she was not comfortable doing intimate scenes. She also turned down 3 films featured alongside Will Smith. So it wasn't like she was rejected on international platforms. Anyhow if I look at it from a broad scale, Aishwarya Rai has been recognised for her beauty and was crazed after in European countries. She also was the first Indian actress to represent her country as a jury member in the Cannes Film Festival. Regardless of whether people like/dislike her as a person or actress, it cannot be denied that Aishwarya Rai (for better or worse) played a huge contributing factor in giving BW the recognition it deserves.

There is no denying that Priyanka did achieve a lot internationally and kudos to her. However, I do often wonder what Priyanka would be doing if she didn't marry the Jonas brother. Would she have still managed to maintain her international relevance?

Priyanka is ONLY recognized because she's married to Nick Jonas who is hugely popular in the US.

Other than that she has only 1 flop TV show & sidey roles in few Hollywood movies, that's it.

On the other hand, Aishwarya has REJECTED LEAD ROLES opposite actual Hollywood biggies like Brad Pitt, & she didn't had to marry an international star to be recognized by the international media.

So yeah, Aishwarya definitely has achieved more.

Aishwarya was never very interested in HW I think.Had she been..m sure she would have been more successful.She did get a lot of offers some of which she rejected n some she happily did.But to be a regular actress she would have to shift her base in US I feel..n maybe she was not ready to settle there.She never seemed as passionate about HW as she is for BW.

On the other hand Priyanka has worked very hard be it for her musical album or tv shows or now movies.She literally started from scratch.And I would not give credit of her success to the Jonas surname.Its her passion for her work that has brought her so much recognition in the foreign land.And kudos to her for that.

Aish started it, and PC continued it.

Everyone knows Ash across the world and within India as well. So I’ll say Aishwarya Rai
