I had almost forgotten why I loved making edits so much, but like, looking at this update, I feel inspired to make some more stuff! It's very relaxing, and I haven't actually done much since like 2018 end-ish, but now I feel so motivated to get back to it!

off-topic, I actually loved the way age and costume transformation was shown in ASR. when needed, they really looked like prince and princess- then married couple- then married and matured couple- then king and queen- then parents.

same costume, same faces- but get up and ornaments were used in such a manner that immediately personality will change.

Yes, I agree that the pic first made me so happy to have it, and then it made me weep at the heartbreaking moment which we all wish actually happened. 🥺 Gurmeet and Debina had such great chemistry with the kids, it's a pity they couldn't act with them together.

And yes, I agree with you. The costumes of ASR were minimal (there's a reason for that too), but they showed the age transitions well. I think it was the particular hairstyles and the style of wearing the veil for Debina that really made a difference, but more than that, they really nailed the mannerisms of Ram and Sita by the end of the show. In the beginning, they portrayed the shy, bashful prince and princess, then later the dedicated and humble vanvaasis, and finally the majestic, dutiful King and Queen who sacrificed their entire happiness for their people.

Btw, did you know that both Ram and Sita had more royal costumes designed by Nisha Sagar, but a fire on the sets had destroyed a lot of them? It's such a great pity, because Nisha Sagar said she had designed some really pretty costumes for Debina in green, yellow and blue. I had always thought Debina wore too much red and pink in the show, but this is the reason why. The other colors were destroyed. 🤔
