Not a cameo, he had a full fledged role of Vishnu in it

really why did bhima have to hit him below waist then?

Because Duryodhan was strong (even without that supposed magical vision he was), Bheem wasn't able to defeat him by normal mace fighting standards.

This way he also fulfilled his vow to break Duryodhan's thighs

Krishna couldn't have anticipated the Dyut Sabha and the happenings in it.

Mahabharatha actually was a loss to him since he had the risk to lose out on his allies. The difference between Kauravas n Pandavas wasn't his doing either. He at made use of condition in front of him

Krishna isn't completely white either. I can never support his suggestion of abduction of his sister or his role in KhandavDahan (although HearMeRoar justifies this one)

He was a strategic partner to Pandavas agreed, but even in his absence Mahabharata the main plot would have taken place more or less similarly

i agree thats why i said on the whiter side.

MB is a story of fight for the throne though. of the pandavas & kauravas

This reminds me, I had seen a meme at the start of the lockdown when Ramayana and Mahabharata had started

So someone asks a lawyer if he is watching Ramayana n Mahabharata to which he replies that Ramayana is an abduction case and Mahabharata is a property dispute
