I have many reasons to think polyandry was a story made up by her enemies to discredit her which eventually got set in stone. So not interpolation as such but vicious gossip contemporaneous to her life which was believed to be true. It's not based on one instance or more of Panchali not giving Arjuna the time of day.

The point I was making was Panchali didn't pine, period. It was Arjuna who did.

That doesn't mean I'm an ArDi fan. I actually loathe that pair because of exactly what happened in this thread. Without even the slightest evidence, the proponents of it turn her into a whiny idiot which she was far from.

Uddhava was the son of Vasudeva's brother Devabhaga I think.

Polyandry couldn't be a story to be easily accepted. I mean marriage with one n affair with others could be a rumour started by enemies to eventually become accepted, but marriage is something very elaborate especially amongst the kings n family. I don't think it could be just a gossip.

And why would Vyas continue with this gossip anyway

For the other parts I agree. She wasn't whiny but she loved her husbands

Exactly 😆. Only facts were stated nothing about eternal love story which obviously did not exist. It was all arjuna s one sided pining.
