Radha was a 14th century creation. She doesn't exist in MBh or Harivamsa or Bhagavatham.

I think Radha was just a single personification of all the Gopis in Gokul

Polyandry has been referenced too many times in the epic and by nearly all the important characters. I don't think we could discard it so easily

Draupadi never pinned for Yudhishtir either if you see. That doesn't mean they weren't married

That's what most scholars think is all I'm saying. Partly because of her background.

I believe Nila Devi is mentioned a few times in Harivamsa southern recension after Krishna's return to Mathura.
