And even if this has happened before, that’s not an excuse to be okay with it. If people are now raising their voice against such practices one should support them instead of saying “it’s been happening forever “ or “ nepotism is okay if the person is talented”

Indeed. This whole "it happens everywhere" idea completely misses that it happens everywhere but in VARIED levels, and in bollywood, it has crossed all the lines and that's why it's making people sick. Since it serves their argument for their favorite though, they will keep up with the english wartime slogan, "keep calm and carry on."

THAT, or they've naturally defaulted to cynicism cuz it's safe.

Alia does not all have all hits / the following movies were not proper CLEAN hits

SOTY

Highway

Shandaar

Udta Punjab

Dear Zindagi

Kalank

Semi hits and averages are excuses used for PR. Those movies are living a lie.

That’s 6/12. 50% HIT rate. Which is nothing special.

Also Alia has no Blockbuster or ATBB.
