sometimes "quality" film makers fail to notice you,isn't that what the nepotism debate is also about?that even if you do good work people from bw might not notice because you are not their kid?This dense,hypocritical woman was complaining about nobody talking about randeep post highway and is now saying that since nobody noticed dhanush, he isn't deserving.So people who don't get noticed are undeserving or no?I don't get.

other examples of talented people not being noticed- amit sadh(the third guy in kpc) or tripti dimri or avinash tiwary.Tripti got a bulbull now,afters year of her debut movie.And she isn't being praised by the insiders or established people as much.SO....undeserving?😳

See Sushant gave an earnest and very adorable, heart felt performance in KPC. I loved that movie, just because of his innocence. Amit and Raj were also great, acting wise, Raj was probably the best, but we all knew Sushant from Pavitra Rishta and Kish Desh Mein, so for most of us, he was the reason why most of the people saw KPC.

Dhanush on the other hand gave a great performance. Obviously it was an author based role, but Dhanush took it and hit home run. He had a much complex role than Sushant's and he nailed it.

If someone thinks Sushant gave a better performance, I would respect it, but sorry you can't have the cake and eat it too, by disrespecting and downplaying Dhanush.

The only valid point would be, that Indian awards are shit, and how can anyone who has been in moviws industry so long win a best debut award, just because language is different.
