Listen I did not liked Kai Po Che. I preferred watching Ranjhana over the movie. I even liked Sonam, which I would never say in that movie. I liked Abhay Deol too. Ranjhana had a good story and was executed well.

I never liked Shushant as an actor and I would not lie that I have ever bothered watching any of his movies.

Dhanush should have gotten best actor popular over Farhan, he was that good. And here we are debating about best debut.

Point being she won last year for 15 minute role in Gully Boy. Tell you can’t name one performance more deserving.

I am not acting Psychic. I have seen more people pretending to love Shushant than their families. I have seen enough of nonsense threads believing in random lying tweets. I think more people are using Shushant to gain fame. Some are using his name worst than Shekhar Suman and Kangana.

Farhan is a fine actor, one of the best among star kids, alongside Ranbir and Akshay Khanna. But yeah, Dhanush is Dhanush.

Farhan is a better film maker than actor. He works had and probably has access to good content due to his ability to create good content. But him winning over Dhanush as you both agree did better that itself proves my point about the insider outsider bias.

And if Danush was better. Why didn’t more quality film makers notice him? Did he chose to go back to the south out of choice ? After a massive blockbuster why did the Dangal director chose to work with Sushant. Why did Raj Kumar Rao produce such good quality work after his debut. Why did he get such good offers ? I would like to believe your debut makes a difference especially for outsiders.

errr possibly coz Dhanush didn’t focus on Bollywood .. Tamil is his main language and industry of work and he went in to win several awards, and direct his own film in that industry....

He didn’t get himself a pr, shift base to Mumbai and actively pursue Hindi projects giving auditions etc. to say he didn’t have a career like Sushant coz Sushant was better received by ppl, is far fetched.

Dhanush made raanjhna. He was the only reason the film became such a hit.

I agree about Akshay Khanna ! The one actor who will even shine in a mediocre film. I saw section 365 before starting law school. I was mostly binge watching Hollywood legal films. But I watched one Bollywood one. He was great film was ok. But he has aged bad unfortunately!

Those are all far fetched possibilities. But Bollywood caters to a lager audience. Most actors who start off in regional cinema aspire to be Bollywood actors.
