Why is there common theme of fantasy-romance in Korean showsš... Out of the three descriptions 2nd one doesn't have fantasy element..so will go with that one first with Chicago typewriter.
Thereās quite a few time travel themes - hence I put that under fantasy genre lol. Indian TV shows has a lot of fantasy elements too, the bahu can turn into a mosquito at any time of the day š

Its not about Indian American or Asian. In general I don't like fantasy series barring few. I didn't even watch/like game of thrones..š
Although I do like time travel based showsš there is an American show of which I don't remember name but has Sakina Jaffery In it... You can classify it as a time travel~espionage genre.

I didnāt think I was into the fantasy genre either but some of the content is so good, that it beats reality. The only aspect of Scarlet Heart that is fantasy is just the time travel that happens in the very first episode. The entire focus of the 16 episodes will be in a historical/kingdom setting with no supernatural effects š
Goblin has some fantasy elements but the plot is so darn good, it becomes a power factor of the show.
Do give em a go! Donāt let the word āfantasyā put you off š

@Zeal .... I would say CT is much better than Goblin or may be on par!
Tho Goblin also has it's special place in my heart! š I didn't like the romance bit much, but the storyline is solid not to mention its beautiful cinematography! Sigh!
Zeal fantasy dramas in Asian world are much better. I actually prefer fantasy elements and twists! Someone who repulses at the mention of GOT loves fantasy C and K dramas!
Memories of Alhambra is another fantasy futuristic drama and it's ah-mazing!
