Kareena does come across as a cold-hearted person. Again thanks to the privileges of being a star kid, she truly gives an impression of an elitist snob. Her mother Babitha was quite a manipulative person. I had heard stories of how greedy and money hungry she was and she had pushed her daughter Karisma in to acting by breaking the rules of the Kapoor household (that women of the household cannot act in movies). After she and Randhir parted ways, i don't think she even allowed her daughters to mingle with the other members of the family back then including their cousins (until some 10 -12 years back). I believe Babitha was also responsible for the break up of Junior B - Karisma's wedding. She had shown her manipulative side in front of Jaya and AB by demanding a huge sum of money. Later, Karisma went ahead and married Sanjay Kapoor a womanizer and eventually got divorced. Sigh, Kareena's inherited all the worst qualities from her mother.

recently i read that mysore mahara visited market to buy veggies/fruits along with his wife, they act like commoners although they are very powerful and all respect them in state

like that aditi rao hydari is also a royal and kiran rao, irfan khan, manisha all are royals but not showing off their royal backgrounds

Kareena and her third class gang are the biggest gossiping aunties and talk shit about new celebs so openly. They talk about making fun of others so casually too.

I had read an article about babitas affair with ranjeet the actor who plays villan.What i feel is that since karishma and kareena have seen financial difficulty their mom want daughters husband to be rich so if they divorce too they can have money and thats why both married men who already had divorces. Saif got babitha a apartment i think. Both sisters look for financial security than any other thing. When karishma was engaged to abhishek, amitabh bachchan was bankrupt and abhishek was a flop actor/not a big actor. If you see engagement viideo on youtube karishma looks all excited but not babitha. Kareena became vegeterian for shahid she loved him. But shahid did not want her to continue in movies after marriage and objected to her wearing revealing clothes etc thats why she broke up with him i had read in magazine.

She has ZERO remorse about how her gossiping might impact other's lives. This is the problem for me.Her fans are acting as if she's just becoming an adult. She gets the opporunity and benefit of doubt to become an adult over and over after making several mistakes.

The only thing I'll say about Kareena is that she gets sooo many passes and people will say "that's just how Bebo is lol" No other actresses has gotten that. Ppl let her stupidity slide b/c she's a wel known airhead and doesn't sit well with me. We've literally seen PC and Deepika getting dragged for saying the same level of stuff or far better.

For example, people go ahead and troll all these actresses for doing fairness cream but has anyone dragged KKK's behind on wearing blackface and afro in that song in Khushi? That's soooo problematic.

I actually appluaded her for being the 1st major Indian celeb to post BLM but then she turned it into ALM and I was damn I shouldn't have given her the benefit of the doubt. B/c even though she might ahve grown and isn't the same person, she's one of the only ones that has never apologized and we're supposed to lap it up as "Bebo being Bebo". And I still see her colleagues doing it till this day.

I've seen this come up a lot but I don't know why people keep making fun of her for this. Kareena is an average Indian girl and she wouldn't have been taught about a hate group from Southern US states that lynched black people. How many Americans would know about the RSS or Tamil Tigers? She's 40 years old and grew up before there was widespread access to the internet. She didn't spend her teenage years binge watching American TV shows or movies. She didn't live in America like Priyanka did. Nor did she attend Western schools and colleges where she might have learned about things like this. How is she really expected to know?

It reminds me when she got massively mocked by not knowing Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven. Seriously? She just didn't have a Westernized upbringing. If you asked her about Rafi or RD Burman songs, she would know.

I don't know why we desis do this to ourselves. Everyone doesn't have to know everything about American or European culture. Trust me, Americans don't know a damn thing about India. We don't need to have this insecurity complex.

I fully agree that these actions should be called out (which I believe has already been done on Twitter a lot) so that we can educate further but the majority population in India is still fully unaware and de-sensitized to colorism or racism. This movement has just gained significant ground in the US in the last decade and India is generally always a decade behind when it comes to social issues. Only a small population of Indians present and aware on social media are in tune with "blackface", BLM vs ALM, etc. For example, I cannot tell you how many Indians I have seen openly support ALM. It is well-intentioned but our society in general is just not culturally aware of the historical implications from the West. We also operate off of a herd mentality so if a few people start supporting a movement, many start to jump on that bandwagon. Unfortunate or not, these actresses are just a reflection of the society at large.

My issue is that you should know about a movement before you post on social media. You should have the facts and statistics down in order to make a valid argument about it. In short you should post it because you have done you research and you truly believe in it. Not because it will garner you some momentary publicity. I post many political things on social media. But if someone challenged me I will be ready for a debate that minute unless I am extremely busy.

It has nothing to do with Indian issues or American issues. I am pretty sure if she posted about a prevalent Indian issue she wouldn't be able to defend it. People have been making the argument that actors don't need to be knowledgable in any other arena. And putting them down for not being educated is elitist. Well ok even though I can name a lot of Hollywood stars that are educated. Their degrees are of in theatre or film making. BUT if that's the case than why do they post about things they clearly don't understand. One doesn't even need to go to school do understand certain concepts. Particularly politics people inform themselves by watching the news, reading books, or watching politicians debate. I don't think its elitist. But the intent has to be a genuine one. I don't think it is genuine if you clearly don't understand the issue or can't defend it.

Lot of people in India who never studied in US also they have never even travelled outside India knows about KKK. You are right - she is 40 year old. A 40 year old who has travelled quite alot and who should be exposed to different cultures and history. This is someone who proudly declared she doesn't watch Hindi movies, she only sees Hollywood. If she choose to not even make an effort to understand or study the history then it ain't my fault. She is a bimbo and an idiot. She doesn't care about anything or anyone in the world. That's a lame excuse to cover up her stuipiduy.

Also she was supporting black lives matter few days back. She did she just copy paste that tweet? Did she not even understand the depth of the situation? Actually I wouldn't be surprised if she did that..

P. S. Lot of people are aware of RSS and Tamil Tigers. That is people who read news and who are aware of what is happening in the world.
