I am three years

You've got it already

I am an year older

My Angel wouldn't

Stop pulling my cheeks

As I've grown bit chubby now

Not so often but they do visit

Our relations - I would not show

Myself I prefer hiding behind

My sisters - they would hold me by them

I would say them rhymes and

At times sing small songs too

Because they admored me for it

Then I would go and hide

I did feel discomfort

Away from my small world

But again ma would support me

And make me more comfortable

This year was another learning year

I started learning more

Alphabets and numbers

Interested me more

At night sitting under the open sky

My angel would keep on saying

That our ancestors were the stars

Shining so bright in the sky

Seeing us and guiding us

Whenever I am bored being alone

I would sit by my sisters

They would make dough for chappathi

and I would make small crafts-

not crafts but small toys

Playing with puzzles

Walking around our home

Doodling with smelling markers

Fasicinated me a lot

More than anything

I started reading

I did even play eye spy

With my books

Whenever I heard music

I would make some movements

Mama did call them as the

Best dance moments

More or less it was all about us

Mama and Papa would bring

Photo albums of them

And sisters - I was not there

The very first time I saw it

I cried For myself not being there

Papa told me that I was with ma

And would not even leave her

So they didn't have much

Later I had many photos

Of mine added on to them

We also took many crazy

Pictures and added them to it

As days passed by I was taken to

A new place - My preschool

There were many as me

We were the same

Morning packing my stuffs

In my small bag

Papa would take me there

I initially didn't like going there

But then I had to

As I wanted to learn more

I found many fascinating stuffs

Which drove me to my preschool

Started a new journey

With my first set of strangers...
