It's so sad. He really was a brilliant mind and a thorough intellectual. We never got to see it because Bollywood just didn't care for it. Intellectuals in this industry are somehow looked down upon and brushed aside, mocked and ridiculed. It's like the dumb jocks and mean girls making fun of nerds in high school...that's the vibe I get.
To be able to talk about physics, art, music, mathematics, philosophy, astronomy, and a heap of other difficult subjects on not just a superficial level but deeply discuss them and study them is not easy and takes years of hard work. And he did that purely for passion and hobby! AND he's ambidextrous! It's just astonishing. If he hadn't posted about these things regularly on his insta we probably wouldn't even know. Bollywood never gave it any attention and so many of us are only finding about his abilities after his death now, which is so upsetting.
The ones who didn't stick their noses at him (Bhumi, Shraddha, Kriti, etc.) actually learned from him, they appreciated him. I wish I knew him, he's the kind of person I would have loved to be around. I love intellectuals - if someone can teach me something about this world and help me expand my own knowledge, I'm all eyes and ears. If only Bollywood felt the same.
