How disgusting! Making a mockery of a serious mental disease which takes thousands of lives every month.

People are really ignorant and need to be educated ASAP. This is somehow turning out to be very toxic and ugly now.

Bold - May I ask why you think she is faking her depression? What evidence will make you change your mind? Also don't you think it's better to take people's word about their own medical history?

You cant mock someone's mental illness. Nope. You can't use someone's death due to mental illness to mock someone else's. Then you don't care about mental illness at all.

Like I said, seems like a celeb has to die for people to validate their depression. If Deepika commits suicide tomorrow, will that validate her depression to you? Its ironical how you are bashing someone for not caring enough for someone else's death through depression by calling their depression fake. You don't care about depression at all then. Again, I don't have to know you personally to make that judgement. As a former professional in this field, that's appalling and you need awareness.

Fine..let me begin by showing some kindness to you...if you think it's fine to call somebody else in need of help etc because I beg to differ with someone who in my opinion has been using depression as a tool to seek attention instead of really propagating it..then it's fine..I need help..sure..but that doesn't change what I think about DP and her drama..and you can choose to think whatever you want to about me..I'd rather empathize and support those who have really suffered from depression and anxiety..and help them stand back up on their feet and give them hope and love that is required to fall in love with life and press restart button ..because I have seen it from close quarters..

My friend used to be a journalist with zoom channel. She and her whole circle of colleagues know about this...anyway to each his own..maybe I shouldn't have said anything at all.

here we go again............we (the celebs and the members here) will never learn....we will only cry and sympathize and wish well for the person after he / she DIES of depression..........till then, troll them, bash them, call them names, call them attention seekers and characterless.....

as i said earlier........we humans are loosing our humanity, pretty fast.......

Yea DPs posts might have been annoying. But that does not give this guy the right to make a mockery of her depression.

WTF even is "crying under the shower because of a BF". How insensitive.

Have people forgotten their humanity in all this. Death threats to children, mockery of someone's mental health.

People have forgotten what we are really fighting for.

Exactly........firstly, it was her mother who while explaining said that SHE thought that its boyfriend issue (Deepika was dating Ranveer that time) but later she realized that its not that, but something else and pretty serious....

don't want to defend her.....but its a sad state of society when we think a person's depression is real, only when they commit suicide.....if unfortunately, yes, unfortunately, they heal and look happy, then we are ready to label them as fake and call them the worse names possible......

Yeah that's why I don't wanna blame her for not naming Sushant. Maybe this is her coping mechanism, we never know. Maybe she is shocked and is unable to take his name because then she has to face the reality that he died from a painful illness she suffered from too.

The post is also very insensitive because breakups/losing someone you were romantically with can cause a lot of pain to people (even though Deepika's depression isn't from breakup, but still). The pain from a broken heart is considered as a form of mental torture. That's why in some cases when people are married for a long time, if one of them dies the other dies sometime soon after it too. It's called as "widowhood effect".
