You are not calling out her behaviour on Sushant's death which is valid, you are calling out her mental illness fake... Just because. Like I said, seems like a celeb has to die for people to validate their depression. If Deepika commits suicide tomorrow, will that validate her depression to you? Its ironical how you are bashing someone for not caring enough for someone else's death through depression by calling their depression fake. You don't care about depression at all then. Again, I don't have to know you personally to make that judgement. As a former professional in this field, that's appalling and you need awareness.

What I don't get is, why does one of the narratives have to erase the other?

Nepotism is real, but so is depression. Can we not trivialise one of them just to push our own agenda further? That just comes across as insensitive, if you ask me.

For a moment think of Deepika as a normal girl who's not your admired star.

I don't think he's erasing the mental issues narrative. He is saying that yes spread awareness that depression is a thing, but also spread awareness that nepotism is a thing.

One word he could've skipped is spineless. Either he's bitter due to the breakup (maybe she dumped him for greener pastures?) or he genuinely feels she's spineless.

One point he's trying to hint at is that Deepika is also a product of nepotism (yes, nepotism doesn't mean just family, it includes friends). She has this penchant of networking and forming close friendships with powerful people.

He never made fun of depression. He is making fun of Deepika who is using depression to her benefit. According to him if she really faced depression she would react like this.

That's because the way she is reacting. She is using it . The person who has gone through depression wouldn't do such stuff. She is actually making fun of depression. Her posts are extremely annoying like repeat after me WTF posts.

She maybe using depression, she can be annoying with her WTF posts, she can cunning, attention seeking but he's nobody to say 'this is depression' and this isnt. Unless he's a medical professional on her case.
