If hey didn’t do all of that, how can they blame someone else for not casting him now? Did they go and rally for him in the theatres?

Once again I gave you the answer to that. It wasn't because he himself wasn't capable of catching attention because there was a PR strategy to hide him. Why despite Chichore being as critically claims and more successful in terms of box office did it not win any awards? You don't think there is a powerful establishment that does things with a certain purpose. I said the same thing with KWK. The purpose was to hide him and pretend like he was invisible. They succeeded.

No one gave him credit. After high way how many tweet did Alia get from industry insiders about being the next Merly Streep. The buzz being created to give a certain perception was beyond obvious. Shabana Azmi was silly enough to compare it to her own performance in Arth. You think Alia's dad making Arth played no part in that???

I will not buy that the ignorance of the audience is the same as all powerful bully deliberately marketing things for a certain result. Deliberately trying to make the buzz behind someone success die down. Deliberately blocking projects and sabotaging a career. Did anyone here do that? I have been active here since 2014 and I will say it again the hate died down after a while? But I feel once again that you are trying to excuse a bully and comparing him with ignorance. The ignorance on our part was dumb but it shouldn't compare to the blame a bully should receive. I am not saying he killed him. I am saying he sabotaged his career to an extent. For that he should not be excused. You have been trying to do that by dismissing his bullying and mocking of Sushant as stupid immature antics and now trying to shift the blame on to the audience for discussing him enough. Again not many people were informed that Chichore was a bigger hit than Gully Boy until they just checked the facts now.

That one for me. Speaking strictly for myself. I had no dislike towards him, I never called him Susu and I never participated in any blinds or any Ankita-related hate either. But I also didn't watch many of his movies and out of the ones I watched, the only one I remembered or made any impact on me was Dhoni. I only watched Chichore after his death in his honor because the story never interested me earlier. It feels inappropriate to say but I thought he was just alright in it. His acting was good in the younger parts but unconvincing when he played the older man.

All in all, I thought he was just okay. I had no dislike towards him but had no love for him either. He was just another actor amongst many others. His fame level and the types of movies he got seemed appropriate for his skill level. I wasn't rooting for him to get bigger or smaller.

Same for his looks - he was fine. I never thought he was ugly and he had nice enough features but I wasn't attracted to him personally.

All the conspiracy theories of sabotage make no sense to me. It looked like he was getting the types of fame and films that were appropriate for his talent level.

This is not fair. You think he was getting movies for his talent level.

That Means you agree arjun , aditya are more talented because they got movies which Sushant was finalized?

You believe all other big movies alia, janvu etc are getting because they r talented ?

The reality is Sushant got big movies too. They were changed/canceled at the last minute.

Yet he kept delivering hits. His last one was a super hit. He had limited movies. But he was praised and loved by public for them. But how many of you know his movie was a super hit? Where was he discussed. People get influence by media. Media manipulate people.

He was never celebrated in media.His successes were never discussed. Interviews were sidelined in media.

You really think there is no problem for outsiders unless you join a camp. But it it.its a big issue.

u really think Crores of ppl are dumb enough to fall for propoganda if they love the actor? And assume he’s invisible because kjo won’t talk abt him?

They continued to love an actor accused of terrorism and an actor accused of assault and running over a person...actors who are in jail continue to be loved ...

I believe kjo snatching away roles from him or acting all high and nightly

I don’t believe he influenced all of us to ignore him all these years if we really did like him

Nowhere have i denied that nepotism exists and starkids are shoved on us but Sushant isnt the only person to be wronged in the industry . Same thing happened with Randeep Hooda in Highway . Actors like Vikrant Massey have to play sidekick to Arjun Kapoor . Sushant's name was at least taken in KWK, these people dont even exist

Its not Kjo not openly talking about him. It dozens of insiders not talking about the success of his films the way they compared Alia to Merly Streep. It is the same sources that planted those blinds not talking about the success of his films the same way they talk about the success of star kids films. It is Sushant not getting any awards where as mediocre star kids getting awards. It is him not being invited on a controversial show which purpose is to create controversy and buzz. Yes I do feel Kjo can get people noticed and success noticed. He has the power to do that.
