Raman was waiting for ishita in the park they meet regularly.though he was trying to act normal but he was feeling anxiety with the thought of going away from her.yes today was the last day of their two month term and since morning,he was really waiting for evening to tell this to ishita and finally can get rid of her,but as time start passing,he start feeling restless with the thought of going away from her.
Though he tried alot in these two months to not think or feel anything for her ,but in reality,she was all over his mind,since the time they met. He tried hard every single day to not get affected by her unconditional love for him,but his heart slowly start loving her gestures and craving for more love from her. But everytime his emotions overpower his mind,he stop himself thinking about their age difference and her still being a kid.
But today ,he was feeling terrible thinking now they will be apart forever. Though his heart was telling him again and again,not to let her go but he was listening to his mind only,who was telling him to end this chapter today ,as it will be correct for both of them.
Lost in his thoughts,he was sitting when she came to him and said smiling-hi Raman.
Raman look at her body and face.she was looking more lean then before and has applied lots of make up.
Raman-tum pehle se kaafi patli ho gayi ho,aur make up bhi kitna kiya hai tumne .
Ishita smiled and said-aapne notice kiya,aapko achcha lagaa,she asked excitedly.
Raman-nahi,I don't like u being so lean and with lots of make up,tum mujhe bina make up ke bhi achchi lagti ho.
Ishita-finally u said that u like me,ab love u bhi keh dijiye,main thak gayi hoon try karte karte,please say yes ,Raman.
Raman-i know tum thak gayi ho,aur issliye main aaj tumhari yeh problem kar dunga,now u have to be around me to beg for ur love.
Ishita-matlab aap mujhe propose karenge aaj,she asked excitedly.
Raman -nahi,aaj aakhir din hai,do mahine beet gaye,aur tum mujhe jeet nahi paayi,he said feeling heavy on his heart in telling those words to her.
Ishita look at him and said-kya matlab hai iska??
Raman -wahin joh tum samajh rahi ho.the time is over,ishita.ab tumhe apna promise nibhana hoga. Main jaa raha hoon aur ab tum mere baare mein nahi sochogi. He said looking at her blankly.
Ishita started crying hearing him and said hugging him tight-please Raman,please mujhe chod kar mat jaiye.i don't know main kyun aapke dil mein apne liye jagah nahi bana paayi,but I really love u alot .main aapke liye kuch bhi kar sakti hoon,raman.aap kahenge toh mar kar bhi dikha dungi . She said crying bitterly.
Raman-tum aisa kuch nahi karogi,tumne promise kiya tha that u will forget me ,if u can't impress me in these months,now live upto to promise,main jaa raha hoon ,aur ab tum mujhe dhoondhne ki koshish nahi karogi.apni studies par dhyaan dogi and will make everyone proud.
Ishita-main sab karne ko ready hoon ,raman.main sab kar dungi ,but aap mujhe chod kar mat jaiye,main nahi jee paaungi aapke bina.
Raman -koi kisi ke liye nahi marta,beta.tumhe bhi kuch nahi hoga,apna khayal rakhna aur mujhe bhool jaana.tum bahut achchi bachchi ho and I really wish the whole world for u.hamesha khush rehna ,ishita.he said and very softly pecked her temple while she hugged him tight and start crying more bitterly making him feel very bad for her.
Ishita-main achchi hoon,toh kyun chod kar jaa rahen hai mujhe,raman.main aapke liye sab karungi,aap kahenge toh zindagi bhar aapka intezaar bhi kar lungi,bas ek baar keh dijiye ki aap mujhse pyaar karte hai.
Raman closed his eyes and said-nahi keh sakta,kyunki nahi karta hoon. Nahi karta main tumse pyaar aur ab apne vaade ke mutabik tum bhi mujhse pyaar karna chod dogi.
Ishita-nahi chod sakti,Raman. Nahi chod sakti,aap samajhte kyun nahi hai ,aapko chodna agar itna asaan hota toh maine kab ka chod diya hota,maine aapko tab se chaha hai Raman,jab se main aapke naam ke siva kuch nahi jaanti thi,but aaj aapko do mahine se jaanne ke baad,I started loving u more. Aur jyada pyaar karne lagi hoon aapko,itna ki shayad aap chale gaye toh marr jaaungi aur nahi mari toh pagal jarur ho jaaungi. Bawri ho gayi hoon aapke pyaar mein,aapke siva aur kuch nahi dikhta mujhe,please hold my hand,I will do everything for u.she said looking deep into his eyes.
He just break the hug and said-i am going,hope u will live upto ur promise and will forget me.he said and start walking while she fell on the ground crying. Though he was feeling bad for her,but according to him it was best for her,unknown to him ,tears start rolling down his cheek feeling the pain ,when it start raining.
Raman was walking in the rain crying while ishita was sitting in the ground feeling hopeless crying bitterly at this end of her love. Her make up washed away and her face full of dark circles and patches were visible. She hide her face in her palm and cried for God know how long.
Next day,Raman took the flight to his home town as he don't wanna live there anymore.everything in the city was making him remember ishita and he don't wanna remember her any longer. He just want him to let her go.
Slowly time start passing,it was three months since Raman left her city but her thoughts never went off his mind. Every single day he use to think about her and pray to God for her well being. He tried to be strong but sometimes just burst into tears remembering her. Sometimes in midnight,he just wake up to read her old chats and feel her around him,the way she hugged him always feel his heart with so much of warmth.
Seeing his condition ,one day toshiji asked-kya hua puttar,jab se wapas aaya hai ,bahut gumsum rehta hai.
Raman-aisa kuch nahi hai, maa. Bas work load.
Toshiji-really,tujhe dekh kar toh aisa lagta hai ki tera kuch kho gaya hai.
Raman-nahi maa,aisa kuch nahi hai.i am good.
Toshiji-main soch rahi hoon,teri shaadi karwa doon.waise toh tu hamesha mana karta hai,but I really think,she was saying when Raman said-i am ready to marry.
Toshiji look at him with shocked expression and he said-main shaadi ke liye ready hoon, Aapne sahi suna,mere liye jaldi se ek ladki dhoondhiye,jisse main jald se jald shaadi kar sakun.he said and went out making toshiji happy.
She started calling her friends to arrange a perfect girl for Raman while Raman was sitting outside and thinking,shayad yahin ek tareeka hai Ishita ko bhoolne ka.
Very soon,his marriage got fixed with sonali,ceo of a well known firm.
Their roka and engagement got done and soon their marriage preparations started.
Raman was feeling suffocated with all the preparations but he was pushing his heart not to acknowledge his love for ishita.
He send invitation to all his friends even to Karthik in hope of getting any news of Ishita,but sadly noone responded.
Soon it was his wedding day,he was feeling very restless like something very bad is happening and he is doing wrong,very wrong,but as usual he made up his mind and walked to the mandap .
They exchanged varmala while raman's mind was full of ishita's thoughts only.
At last they sat in the mandap for wedding rituals.raman and Sonali were sitting infront of the holy fire when he heard his friends talking,bahut bura hua ,yaar.achchi ladki thi.
Friend2-haan yaar,suna hai kisi se pyaar karti thi.aisa bhi kya pyaar yaar,ki khud ko hi kho baithe.he said and raman got alert hearing their convo.
Friend 3-abhi do mahine pehle uske papa ke suicide kar liya because of his business failure,phir maa bhi mar gayi papa ke gham mein .bechara Karthik sab kuch handle kar hi raha tha,ki behan bhi pagal ho gayi.
He said and raman's hand stopped,he was about to fill the girl's partition.
He turned around and asked-kya hua ishita ko??
Friend-arey yaar,tu shaadi kar phir baar karte hai.
Raman-nahi bol,kya hua ishita ko.
Friend-arey woh drugs lene lagi thi,complete drug addict ho gayi thi,parent ki maut ho gayi,bilkul akeli ho gayo thi. Karthik bhi usse time nahi deta tha,aur phir last week,pata nahi kya hua achanak,she fainted. Hospital le jaaya gaya toh pata chala drug ka overdose ho gaya. Uska pura dimaag damage ho gaya and she lost her mental balance .he said making Raman loose his balance.
He hold the chair for support and remembered he send his wedding invitation last week.
Friend-log keh rahen hai shayad kisi se pyaar karti thi,toh koi keh raha hai apne parent ke jaane ka gham bardasht nahi kar paati. Ek hafte se pathar ki tarah padi hai bed par,Karthik bhi kitni care karega,he has a wife and daughter to look after. Keh raha tha,ab usse ghar nahi le jaayega,paagalkhane mein hi rahegi woh .thik bhi hai,choti bachchi hai uski,kisi pagal ko ghar mein kaise rakh sakta hai.they were saying when Raman ran inside.
Toshiji went behind him tried to talk to him but he left within ten minutes without answering anyone to reach ishita asap.
