I could never understand his liking for chandal chokdi duryodhana.

I liked him till establishment of dwarka coz till then he was very much active partner of krishna.

Anyhow balram was jealous of arjun coz of krishna's fondness towards arjun , further subhadra haran worsen d condition more.

Balram is said to be incarnation of adi shehnaag , even I read he is also counted as one of dashavatar of lord Vishnu ( I have doubt on this ).

Balram had his own set flaws , he was addicted to wine or varuni , others also.

I found him as a grey character.

Yes he insulted Yamuna, removing divinity, probably Yamuna was a girl

Maybe because Duryodhan was his student and was better than Bheem and his other students. Just like Dronacharya liked Arjun

What's your opinion on Alli tale? It's a very disturbing tale, makes me question myself for loving Arjun and Krishna.

This Bheel Bharat story is sick. Alot of folktales, (Jambu fruit incident for instance) are sheer misogynistic trash, especially these ones targeting Drau. This one is so disturbing. I remember reading this years ago.
