Hi,

I am new to this forum, this question caught my attention. I have found & read Krishnavathara series by KM Munshi, written almost 70 years back. NArrative style in Krishna’s POV. It’s best series I have read so far on Krishna & Mahabharatha. It has 8 books in the series I think, first one focus on Krishna’s birth & childhood.

The series continued till Pandavas goes to exile, unfortunately KM Munshi passed away, didn’t complete war.

The story telling is extraordinary, you will fall in love with Vyasa, Satyavathi, Akrura, Uddhava, Balarama, Kunti too apart from Krishna, Arjuna, Draupadi, Rukmini ( my favorites).

Please try these. My favorite are book 2, 3 &7.

Not many people know about this series, wanted to share with you all.

Ok people advertising here, but one of my friends Sharath K. has written Queens of Hastinapur series from the perspective of lesser known females there Gandhari, Ganga, Subhadra, Bhanumati (Duryodhan's wife)....

I really liked that series may be personal bias

I would love to read something about Bhanumati. Btw, is she mentioned in the epic? I mean even once.

Which book is this?

Many Bengali authors like Rajshekhar Basu and Bankim Chandra Chattopaadhyaay also are huge Yudhi fans.

Mahasamar series by Narendra Kohli.
