Raman was laying on the bed and was thinking about ishita's words.
Raman-ishita ki koi galti nahi hai,it was all my fault.shaadi ke baad pyaar ki umeed apne pati se nahi rakhegi toh kisse rakhegi.she was not at all wrong in expecting my love and time.maine hi usse hamesha disappoint kiya ,divorce papers bhi sign karke wapas gusse mein bhej diya.counselling ke liye bhi nahi gaya,divorce ki final hearing ke liye bhi nahi pahuncha.i behaved like a complete jerk,toh agar ishita mujhse gussa hai toh kya galat hai .bechari ne mujhe contact karne ki koshish ki,but Maine hi khud tak pahuchane ke saare raaste bandh kar diye the.kaash maine itni restrictions naa lagayi hoti ,apne office mein toh main Ishita ke paas hota jab usse meri zarurat thi.but maa ko ishita ke saath aisa behave nahi karna chahiye tha,usse ghar se nikaal diya,watchman ko kaha usse ander naa ghusne de.maa ko aisa nahi karna chahiye tha.phone karke puchun kya,nahi.maa ko pata chal jaayega ki main Ishita se mila hoon.i don't wanna involve her now,woh phir gussa ho jayengi ishita par,itna bada sach chupane ke liye.apni galti toh manengi nahi.but ab main kya karun,Ishita aur bachchon ke baare mein jaan kar,ab main wapas unhe chod kar jaana nahi chahta.kyun jaaun main,they r my kids,aur shayad Ishita bhi mujhe pyaar karti ho.aakhir woh bhi toh aaj tak aage nahi badhi.iska matlab toh yahin hai,ki uske dil mein aaj bhi main hoon.but agar nahi hua toh,uski zindagi mein koi aur aa gaya hoga toh .what if she is involved with someone else.he thought and start getting restless.
Raman-nahi,Ishita ki zindagi mein koi aur nahi ho sakta.but ho bhi toh sakta hai.after all I never gave her time and she was craving for love.ho sakta hai uski zindagi mein koi ho,but agar hota toh woh bachchon ko mere baare mein nahi batati.kya pata pehle naa ho but ab ho.hey matarani,kaise pata lagaun ,ki uski zindagi mein mera kya status hai.easy puch lunga direct,usne bhi toh pucha tha ki meri zindagi mein koi hai ki nahi,though not directly ,but main toh directly puch lunga.yes kal sabse pehle yahin karunga,will ask what she feels about me .he thought and lay down next to adiru to sleep.
An hour passed,he was trying hard to sleep but still wasn't able to sleep thinking about his status in her life.
Raman-mujhse nahi wait kiya jaayega kal tak,main abhi puchne jaa raha hoon.but agar woh gussa hui toh,hui toh hui,I am going,I can't sleep without knowing my status in her life.he said to himself and went out of the room.
He walked slowly to her room thinking her reaction.though he was scared of her reaction but was determined to know it.
He thought to knock the door but it was open,so he walked slowly to her room and said shaking her a little-ishita.
She didn't responded so he shaked her again,only to get no response.
Raman-kahin aisa toh nahi ki jag rahi ho,aur mujhe avoid karne ke liye respond naa kar rahi ho.he thought and went to remove her blanket a little to see her face.
Ishita was sleeping peacefully when she felt someone on her. She opened her eyes and screamed when Raman closed her mouth and said-chilla kyun rahi ho??it's me.
She pushed him and said-how dare u enter my room,and why u r on me??
Raman-ouch ,lag gayi mujhe,he said caressing his elbow .
Ishita-serves u right,now tell me,aap kya kar rahen hai mere room mein.
Raman-actually mujhe tumse baat karni hai,I can't sleep after hearing ur pain.
Ishita-aap nahi so paa rahen yeh aapki problem hai,I will not disturb my sleep for u .jaiye yahan se.she said and lay down while he was just sitting there.
She tried to sleep and finally said-stop being a kid ,raman.mujhe sone dijiye,I have work tomorrow.
Raman-yahan main itna pareshan hoon,aur tumhe sone ki padi hai .mujhe baat karni hai tumse.
Ishita-toh rahiye pareshan,main kya karun,she said and he look at her making a puppy face.
Ishita-urgh,adi -rooh bilkul aap par gaye hai .boliye,kya bolna hai,but make it fast,I am really sleepy .she said making him smile.
Raman-woh mujhe naa,mujhe naa,mujhe tumse,he was fumbling with words when she said -kya Raman,boliye.mujhe neend aa rahi hai.
Raman-pehle tum mujhe yun nag karna bandh karo and let me concentrate,mujhe bahut jaruri baat karni hai.
Ishita-main nag kar rahi hoon.u r disturbing me late night.kya bolna hai ,boliye.she said and he was thinking how to say this and finally said-ek coffee bana dogi.
Ishita look at him in disbelief and he said-please.
Ishita-turant nikal jaiye,mere kamre se.bau dikhti hoon,raat mein neend se jagaa kar,coffee bana do .she said irritatedly when he said-please,I can't sleep.mujhe tumse baat karni hai,I can't talk also.actually I am very confused,lag raha hoon naa.please make coffee for me,coffee piyunga toh achche se soch samajh kar baat kar paaunga .he said making puppy face .
Ishita-damn u,bilkul adi-ruhi aapke duplicate hai,woh bhi mujhse aise hi irritate karte hai.she said and went to kitchen to make coffee while he went behind her smiling.
Raman-mere bachche hai toh mujh par hi jaayenge,kisi paagal madrasan par thodi naa jaayenge .he said walking next to her.
Ishita-aapke bachche,kitne din pehle aapko pata chala bachcho ke baare mein,bade aaye aapke bachche.maine akele paala hai unhe,iss paagal madrasan ke akele ke bachche hai woh.
Raman-ab tum mujhe taana maarogi.
Ishita-mann toh aapko maarne ka karta hai,but abhi taane se hi kaam chalaungi.she said setting the coffee to brew when he said-maar lo.
Ishita look at him confused when he said-maar le jitna maarna hai.kyunki main bahut guilty feel kar raha hoon,that I couldn't reach u when u needed me the most.tumhari pregnancy,Amma ki death,u wanted me,but I wasn't there for u,maar lo,kuch haddiyan tutengi toh shayad dil ka bojh thoda halka ho jaaye.
Ishita look at him and could see his guilt stricken face.
Ishita-sachchi mein thodi naa maarungi .she said when he came close and said-u know,I always thought ki tum bahut khush ho mere saath.according to me I was doing everything for u aur tum bahut khush hogi.sach paisa,car, jewellery,ghar sab kuch diya maine tumhe,toh socha tumhare paas ko dukhi rehne ka koi reason ho hi nahi sakta.khud ke baare mein socha hi nahi.lagaa hi nahi ki koi aisi ladki bhi hoti hai,jisse paise nahi shayad pati ki zarurat hoti ho.he said making her look at him.
She was about to say something when he put his finger on her lips and said-tum bol chuki,now let me say my point of view.koi clarification nahi de raha,not giving reasons for being a complete jerk ,bas batana chahta hoon ki kyun maine aisa kiya,yaa phir kyun aisa hone diya .
Raman-so I was thinking that I am keeping u very happy,aur jab tumhara divorce paper mila,jisne mere saare thinking to tod -marod kar rakh diya.i wasn't happy ,infact I was angry on u.all I could think,ki har kuch kiya tumhare liye,aur kya aisa chahiye tha tumhe,ki tum mujhse rishta nahi rakhna chahiye.aisa kya tha,joh the raman kumar bhalla nahi de paaya tumhe.my ego was hurt,badly hurt.u know man's big fat ego.he said and she smiled meekly.
Raman-socha tumse baat karun,but then I thought otherwise and signed those papers.socha tum gusse se aaogi and mujhe dantogi that how can I sign those papers.but tum aayi nahi aur maine bhi apni ego mein tumse baat nahi ki.din hafte mein aur hafte mahine mein badal gaye,hum dur se bahut dur ho gaye .apni ego mein maine hum dono ka rishta khatam kar diye ,I know a mere sorry will not do ,but mere paas aur kuch nahi hai kehne ko.he said while she was just silent.
Raman-tumse divorce ke baad,maa mere peeche padi thi dusri shaadi ke liye.woh tumhe dikhana chahti thi she can get me married before u marry someone else.
Ishita look at him and said-mujhe shaadi nahi karni thi.
Raman-mujhe bhi,main shaadi nahi karna chahta tha.but maa mere peeche padi hui thi.woh roz mujhe shaadi ke liye pareshan karti thi,infact she has distributed my phone number and even my personal e mail id to many girls.mere office mein bhi ladkiyan bhejne lagi thi maa.unse main kuch nahi keh sakta tha,but I restricted everyone's entry in my office,issliye tum mujhse nahi mil paayi.i changed my email id also because of it.sirf issliye tum mujh tak nahi pahunch paayi.safai nahi de raha ,bas bata raha hoon.ki maine har woh raasta bandh kar diya tha,jisse koi mujh tak pahunch sake,but it was my bad luck ki unn sab mein tum bhi thi.main kisi se baat nahi karta tha, even maa-papa se bhi nahi.maine khud ko dubo diya tha apne business mein.safai nahi de raha,bas bata raha hoon.he said and then got silent.
Ishita was just looking at him not knowing what to say ,while he was just looking down.
Raman-kabhi nahi chaha ki tum chali jao,but roka bhi nahi.nahi kahunga ki galti nahi,but utna galat nahi hoon.yes I was egoistic and may be proudy also,but tumse alag ho kar khush nahi hoon aaj.he said and both got silent.
After sometime,
Ishita-aapki coffee ban gayi .she said and forwarded him coffee.
He took a sip and said-tum aaj bhi bilkul waisi hi coffee banati ho.
Ishita smiled meekly and said-aaj bahut baatein ki humne,shayad apne pure ek saal ke rishte mein itni baat nahi ki thi.
Raman nodded and said-haan,kabhi kabhi bina jhagde baat karna achcha hota hai.
Ishita-phir bhi toh aap karte hai,she said smiling.
Raman-really,main karta hoon.tum toh bilkul nahi karti.
Ishita-ofcourse ,main kab jhagda karti hoon.infact maine toh kabhi aapse unchi awaaz mein baat bhi nahi ki.
Raman-haan,aur maine toh tumhe bahut baar peeta hai.he was saying when they heard crying .
Ishita-adi rooh ro rahe hai,kya hua unhe.she said and ran towards their room while Raman too followed her .
They entered the room and saw the kids were on floor and was crying in their sleep only.
Ishra ran to them and Raman said-yeh dono gadde ki tarah zameen par kaise aa gaye.
Ishita glared him and said-aise sulate hai bachcho ko .arey jab uthte hai toh side mein takiya lagaate hai,she said picking ruhi while Raman picked adi.
Raman-mujhe kya pata,maine bachche paale thodi naa hai,main toh aaj papa bana hoon.he said making adi sleep on the bed.
Ishita throw a pillow on him and said-u know Raman,u r disgusting.aaj papa bane hai,toh teen saal pehle kaun papa bana tha.she said settling ruhi on bed.
Raman-tumne mujhe bataya nahi tha.
Ishita-aaj bhi nahi bataya hota toh achcha hota .u don't deserve to know this,wahin chod dena chahiye tha airport par.she was saying when appa came and said-tum dono ki raat nahi hoti,itni raat ko jhagda kar rahen ho woh bhi bachchon ko chup karane ki jagah.agar ek awaaz phir aayi mujhe,dono ko apne ghar se nikaal dunga.
Ishita-appa,aap inko nikaliye.jhagralu.
Raman-nahi appa,aap isse nikaliye.waise bhi isse ghar chodne ka bahut shauk hai.
Appa-main dono ko nikalunga, remember I don't wanna hear any words.dono bachcho ko sulao,aur khud bhi so jao chup chap .he said and went.
Ishra got settled on the bed while adiru were in between them.both started caressing the kids head slowly and soon adiru slept hugging Ishra turning to their side.raman kissed adi's temple while Ishita kissed ruhi's.
Both look at each other and smiled softly .
Ishita-its really late,so jaiye.
Raman-ek question puchna tha,tumhari zindagi mein koi aur hai kya??
Ishita smiled and said-kal bataungi .saying so she closed her eyes when he said-arey bata do.warna main chain se so nahi paaunga.
Ishita open her eyes and said-thats purely ur problem,mujhe bahut neend aa rahi hai.good night,Raman.she said and closed her eyes while he was telling her to answer but she was just smiling.
He murmured for sometime and then he too stopped talking as he was feeling sleepy.very soon ,they all were sleeping peacefully hugging each other
Ishita was hugging ruhi while Raman was sleeping hugging adi tight.
