Sara could have just written ALM instead of striking the word Black out. She is indirectly demeaning the movement.

No matter what the thread topic is, people love to bring in other issues and compare them with the topic issue. Every thread has to be turned into a religion debate by putting down one religion or the other to prove which is superior. Whether it's an animal who died, person of a religion who died or no matter what it is, some people can be seeing justifying such actions. Britishers could easily see through the hatred between the communities and were successful in their mission but the hatred goes on till today and similarly it's the case in USA where blacks were treated as slaves for years and punished no matter whether they are guilty or not. Hating them just because they are minority is SICK!

Why is a simple thing so difficult to understand? especially someone who already spent some years in the US

Ah as usual the thread is lost on people and misconceptions have taken over.😆

The so called right of forum isn't denying racism or supporting the white supremists of the USA. But they are not agreeing with the justification of lootings and riots given by certain people in social media. Because that justification is not just wrong, and in a way that gives the Trump govt a perfect excuse to shift the attention from the actual issue(police brutality against African American) to the riots and looting being encouraged or ignored by his opposition.

While those are vocally pro protests in the forum are obviously not encouraging or justifying the looting at present (some of you did though in the initial stages), but what they are insisting is that looting and riots should not be used as an excuse to call the whole movement fluke.

so basically when both groups at core are agreeing with the:

(a) Police brutality should be checked.

(b) looting is bad.

(c) people in George Lloyd case should be punished.

Why are we even fighting, unless obviously in the heat of argument some of us took things too far.😆
