Part 15
She does not come back from her shock if rathore did not call her
Rathore:” Riddhima bitiya aap sun rahi hain na?”
He asked aa he did not get any response from her from the past few minutes.
Ri:” Hmm ji kaka hum sun rahein hain.”
She answered back finally getting control of her throbbing heartbeat.
Rathore:” Bitiya ap chinta mat kijiye main armaan baba ki security badha di hain. Aur main is sab ke piche kaun hain uska pata lagane ki koshish kar raha hun.”
He informed her as he did things on his own level.
Ri:” Ji kaka thek hain par aap dadu ke sath hi rahiyega. Kahin aisa na ho yeh attach humara dhayan divert karne ko ho. Jis se humara dhayan dadu se hat kar armaan par ho jaye.”
She instructed him as she feels there is much more to all these things.
Rathore:” Han bitiya ap chinta na kare main bade saheb ka sate ke tarah sath dunga.”
He said in a convincing and determined tone and riddhima knows she doesn't have to worry for anurag dadu till rathore kaka is there for him.
Then only she answered him
Ri:” Ji kaka hum jante hain. Thek hain kaka ab hum rakhte hain ap sabka dhayan rakhiyega.”
She told him and cut the call. After cutting the call she still stands there thinking about all the events happening there. She was lost in her own world when samriti came to call her
Sa:” Riddhima beta what are you doing here? We all are waiting for you.”
As she heard her mom’s voice she came back to the world and seeing her mom she smiled at her.
Ri:” Nothing mom I was just coming.”
She answered to him of course she can not bother the family right now. Especially when she herself is very much clueless about the things.
Sa:” Ok then chalo beta sab wait kar rahein hain table par dinner is ready.”
Riddhima nodded to her mom and then proceeded towards the dining table with her. As she reached there she found everyone present there including sid. Then she heard her dadi calling
Pr:” Riddhima kahan reh gayi thi aap chaliye aayiye armaan ko khana parosiye.”
She told her and riddhima looked at her dadi. How she is going to plate his food she did not know his choices at all. She was going to object but then thought otherwise and nodded her head. Armaan saw her face in dilemma so he thought to help her
Ar:” Dadi I will serve myself. Riddhima ko kyu pareshan karna.”
He said, passing a gentle smile to everyone and riddhima looked at him. She doesn't know why he says this, does not he want to get served by her or he genuinely thought about her. She was in her own mixed thoughts when she heard ram’s voice
Ram:” Well armaan beta you are right. You can serve yourself but let riddhima do this. Is se na riddhima ko apki pasand janane ka mauka bhi mil jayega.”
He said solving this matter in a minute as of course he knows too that the kids need the push. And being their families they have to do it.
Armaan nodded as he heard ram dadu’s suggestion, this is something now he cant reject. As riddhima finds him nodding his head she comes towards his side ready to serve him. As the helpers started helping her with the dishes riddhima looked at him with questions in her eyes while serving every dish. Seeing that underlying questions in het eyes armaan nods his head taking the dishes. Then suddenly riddhima heard siddhant
Si:” Ri yar tune bhai ko dal bati churma tou serve hi nahin kiya. You know that is bhai’s favorite dish.”
He said giving her something clue about armaan’s likewise otherwise armaan is taking everything which she is serving to him.
Ri:” Thank you sid but humein pata nahin tha.”
Sa:” Tou kya hua ab paros do na armaan kaunsa abhi thali se uth gaye hain.”
She said, caressing her innocent daughter’s hairs. Armaan did not dare to look at her as she started serving his favourite dish, how he dreamed of HER serving him his favourite food and then his adorning for HER. But not now everything is finished and she herself did it. As riddhima served him with a smile, Armaan started eating while talking with everyone. Riddhima too sat down there, but she did not have her dinner properly as her mind is still occupied with the day's incident. Dinner was a jovial affair as everyone tries to make armaan relax and they are successful in their job thanks to sid and sujal. As the dinner was over armaan was thinking to ask ram dadu for taking leave when he heard his phone ringing. It's his mother nandini calling seeing his mom calling he answers the call
Ar:” Ji mumma.”
Na:” Armaan beta ap log abhi vahan se nikale tou nahin na?”
Ar:” Nahin mumma main bas abhi dadu se kehne hi vala tha.”
Na:” That's great maani. Beta suno ap aaj mat aao. Abhi rat bhi bahut ho gayi hain. Papa ne bola hain ap kal din mein ana.”
Ar:” Lekin mumma kya problem hain humne apni car se hi ana hain aur its just 40 minute drive.”
Na:” I know beta. Par papa ne bola hain aur fir maa be bhi kaha nayi bahu rat ko safar nahi karti.”
Ar:” Par mumma.”
Na:” Maani beta ek rat ki bat hain ap kal aa jana riddhima ko lekar. Aur beta ab vo apka bhi ghar hain.”
Ar:” Par mumma main yahan kaise.”
Na:” Maanu beta ap pehle bhi vahan rukte the sujal ke sath this is not your first time. Beta please shubhh nahin hota rat ko newly weds ka aana. Try to understand bacha hum ab aur galat nahin hone dena chahte.”
She tried to make him understand and armaan sighed, he had to do this and moreover there is nothing new for him staying here. But that time was different. He was just sujal’s friend armaan but now he is son in law of this family. But he knows he should respect his family’s feelings, that's the least he can do for them.
Ar:” Thek hain mumma. Main riddhima aur baki sab ko keh deta hun.”
Na:” Thank you mera bacha aur han priya masi se maa ki bat ho gayi hain is bare mein so don’t worry. Bye beta kal milte hain apna aur riddhima ka dhayan rakhna.”
Ar:” Ok mumma bye.”
Giving him instructions she cuts the call and armaan sighed. Why this is feeling so different.
He was thinking about this when he heard some tinkling voice that makes him turn towards the voice. From the time he came here he was avoiding her well, actually not avoiding her but somehow he did not notice her. All this chaos does not let him notice her.
As soon as his gaze fell on her he was surprised to find her dressed in a beautiful green red saree. She was wearing an elegant diamond suit plus that mangalautra he wore her. And her arms were filled with red and green bangles. She was looking very much pretty. She has tied her hair. He does not know why he keeps on looking at her. But it's not in his hands or wish. Whenever he saw that mangalautra adored her slender neck he could not help himself. His trance breaks with her voice
Ri:” Armaan vo sab apko ice cream ke liye bula rahein hain.”
She said looking in his eyes and armaan nods his head
Ar:” Han ap chalo main bhi aa raha hun.”
He said to her and riddhima left from there while armaan followed her. As soon he reached in the lounge he finds everyone there and seeing him samriti smiled called him
Sa:”Arey armaan ap kahan chale gaye the we are waiting for you.”
A:” Kahin nahin aunty vo actually main mumma se bat kar raha tha.”
He answered her as he settled there with everyone else.
Pr:” Chalo acha hain vaise armaan nandini bahu ne apko bol diya hoga na ki ap donow subh jaoge. Vo naye shadi shuda jode ka rat ko jana acha nahin samjha jata hai.”
Priya said and armaan nodded his head as he just got that instruction from his mom.
A:” Ji dadi.”
Ra:” Chaliye bhai ab jaldi se armaan ke liye inke favourite rasmalai layiye. Fir bache bhi rest kar le sari rasmon se thake hue honge.”
Ram said and everyone just enjoyed the desert while chatting with each other while riddhima and armaan just replied in monoslebelly. This did not get unnoticed by the family and they can understand the hesitation in them but two pairs of eyes did not take it lightly. Because they are worried about their friends. Yes, they are none other than sujal and siddhant. They thought of doing something. After the desert samriti asked riddhima
Sa:” Riddhima beta ap armaan ko apne room mein le jao. Take rest beta koi zarurat hogi tou mujhe bolna.”
Riddhima nodded to her mother and then everyone retired to their rooms.
As Armaan followed riddhima to her room, soon they reached her room. As they entered inside riddhima close the door
Ri:” Umm armaan ap fresh ho jayiye washroom that side.”
She said try to letting go of awkardness and armaan nodded hearing her. Then he soon entered in the washroom to freshen up while riddhima was still in her thoughts.
Ri(in her mind):” Kaun ho sakta hain jo is tarah armaan ke piche pada hain. Aakhir chahta kya hain vo. Us din shadi ki rat tou uska plan sirf anurag dadu ki insult karna tha. Par ab yeh attacks. Mujhe kuch samajh nahin aa raha. Bhai ko batau is bare mein. Nahun agar unhe bataya tou he will get to know about the real reason of mine for agreeing to this marriage. Aur yeh unhe bahut hurt karega. Nahin mujhe kuch aur hi sochna hoga.”
Her chain of thought breaks with the click sound if the door and he finds Armaan has come out. Seeing him she gives him a small smile which he returned
Ar:” Riddhima.”
He called her to enquire about her injury.
Ri:” Ji.”
Ar:” Vo ab apki chot kaisi hain?”
Ri:”Hum thek hain armaan ab.”
Ar:” Davai khai apne.”
Ri:” Ji li thi armaan thanks.”
She answers and then there was silence for minutes as they don’t know what to talk.
Ri:” Ap rest kijiye main change karke ayi.”
She said and armaan nodded to her and riddhima went inside the washroom. Armaan was observing her room. He was here in this palace before too but he never came to this room. And it is nothing less than a princess room. One wall caught her attention and he finds that is a big wall a particular corner with lots of pictures placed there. All were of riddhima with her family and friends and he can see how much she is a happy person and lovable person. Some pictures are with his family too except him and rahul. He must admit that she looks beautiful in that radiant smile of hers. One particular picture that caught his attention was that she was wearing a red colour gown with a mask on her face. That picture makes him confused as well because as far as he can remember that dress belongs to HER (Shreya) when he and she played Romeo and Juliet in london. And the decor behind the picture also said that it was that day only when the play was held in university. But seeing this picture he is confused. He was still recalling the events of that day when he heard of riddhima coming. She has changed in the shirt and pajamas but her chooda and all the other married women errands are there only. She is looking pretty. As riddhima finds him looking at her she looks at him. Their eyes locked with each other, don’t know why armaan always gets lost in her eyes. They are depth but then he only breaks the eye lock asking her
Ar:” Riddhima yeh photo.”
He points to the picture and riddhima looks at the picture and then smiles.
Ri;” Vo humari hain jab hum Juliet bane the university ke play mein.”
That confirmed his doubts and he was shocked acknowledging that truth of green eye princes.
R:''I promise mom main ek achi bahu aur biwi banane ki puri koshish karungi''
Ar:''had hain rahul kabhi tou bachpana chod diya karo''
R:” Humein samajh nahin aa raha ki kya kare kaka agar hum aur armaan Mumbai jate hain tou yahan dadu ka kaise. Aise tou kaise manage karenge.”
Ra:” Bhabhi ap na duniya ki aisi pehle ladki hogi jise apni khubsurti ka anadaza bhi nahin hain”
