Creative liberties are necessary...distortions aren't. Specially the gargantuan ones shown here. It's nothing but lack of research.

I did get an headache with distortion too but than i understood its their way of analysing and interpretation i remember siddharth sir saying there are so many versions of MB from all over india

for example mahaprasthan some written that draupadi fall first becos she loved arjuna the most than some written she fall becos she had a boon of dying suhagan if any of 5 pandavas die she will be a widow

than there are many writtens of draupadi birth reincarnation of goddess some say she is lakshmi some say she is kali some say she is durga

than draupadi marrying the 5 pandavas some written that lord shiva gives her boon and some say previous birth husband curse as she was not satisfied with physical intimacy with him

I didn't know abt duryodhan temple in kerala and there is a story behind it

distortion happens when there are too many versions and stories even siddharth sir got confused since there are so many stories related to it they took help from a university researcher for MB and sanskrit

even karna has so many stories related to it

stories can be written by anyone but what is the truth actually the audience wants to know the truth we were not there to witness the happenings

so many stories thats where distortions happens and also whatever ved vyas written in MB is incidents exploring of relationships was not much explored by him by understanding through interpretation its solely belongs to the writers what they read and interpret and they picturised it

SP MB has done a good job in that, distortion is way of their interpretation after analysing it some accept it some don't although they distort it but they did come to the main point and also give a explanation to it something our gen will understand

BRC MB the elders believe is satya vachan but than who knows even that team has done distortion too and elders believes its satya vachan oh my grandpa is so touchy abt it

as much MB is our culture mythology and history its also a literature that need to summarise and interpret and it can be summarise and interpret in many ways but the main point or moral of the story should be shown

suryaputra karn siya ke ram karn sangini are totally fiction and i don't accept that...SPK was plain joke i don't think SP Bharat team handling it even the cast is plain joke...

I agree with Nora and Poorabh. IMO Shaheer neither had the personality of a warrior nor he possessed the acting skills to cover up the glaring flaws. 🥱

He might be good in roles of modern urban men. That's different.

Shaheer is quite lean to look like a warrior as described above. & his voice modulation needed improvement. I found him lacking acting wise in navya too where he played a urban character. So i guess he has improved a lot after MB

as for shaheer-pooja cast them in a urban genre they will still burn the screens with their chemistry becos they naturally have chemistry in them, them with no much scenes no physical contact no intimacy just eye-locks and they mostly stand beside each other only yet they are most loved and iconic jodi of the nation and internationally is proof enough that they have chemistry naturally in them they do not need to work in their chemistry its there in them they have natural chemistry and they are amazingly good with their and even their eye-locks are so natural.. they do not need to work it just comes out from them naturally and last night the craze for them was another level they have a very huge fandom and they garner it through eye-locks

Today when i say the scene between arjun and krishna i was thinking that krishna became arjuns sarthi so that he couldnt run away from war and keep hammering into him about the importance of fighting
