Well of course there is a lot of rules and regulations for resignation. But after resigning from the post, its my partner job to remove my name from all the financial institution. Because legally I am not allowed to do it. We can only remove it from ASIC (Australian Security and Investment Commission) and ABN ( Australian Business Number -where you register your business - remove the director name from there). YEP, it was wrong, when I told tax office, and provide proof then they put my mobile number as wrong number in their system.

Biggest issue in Australia is fighting in the court - because its very expensive. Court fees and lawyers fees are so high, means to get $50,000 from someone, I need to pay $65,000 or $75000 amount. That is why most of the settlement is out of court settlement.
