Absolutely. True or not but its so heartwarming to get to know this. That sid is talikng everyday to sana's Mom.

As you said son-in-law holds a very special place in every mother's heart. Very special .

And sid had that awkwardness about sana's parents because of all that age shaming he faced from those evil housemates.

But it feels so good to see how whole heartedly sana's family accepted him.

Sana's father and brother toh absolutely were in awe of sid.

And now her mom is getting all this support.

I'm very sure Shehnaaz mom did ardaas and saaj path for them. It's quiet common rituals in Punjabi. Hum aise hi buri naazar ko dur rakh teh hai.

In my opinion the best compliment sid received was when sana's father while leaving said " shuklaji dhyaan rakhna iska "

The best compliment ever a man could receive.

Sid and sana were sleeping together on same bed in same quilt,they had so many fights ,sid had never accepted his feelings while sana kept on expressing . In these circumstances ,for parents the situation becomes very complex . And it would be natural to be skeptical.

But a girl's father saying dhyaan rakhna iska was sooo soooo soooo heart touching . Reflected how sid's genuine feelings had reached their hearts.
