It was, why not? She wasn’t working with a big superstar like the Khans so why can’t 2 States count?

While Rani was very popular in her prime, that popularity didn't last for long. And while she is a very respected actress in the industry, she isn't considered a big star in today's times. Kareena never had a consistent graph, but she was always a huge star, and still remain so. So popularity wise, it's a no-brainer (especially today).

But acting wise, I find Rani better. But Kareena is no less. When you take everything into consideration, Kareena is the bigger celebrity.

I am a Rani fan though, and Kareena is probably my second favorite.
