Since you brought up minority vs majority, consider the example of Dravidian movement:
India level:
Minority: Dravidian speakers
Majority: Hindi speakers
Should Hindi be accepted as national language?
-OR-
Tamil Nadu level:
Minority: Hindi/Sanskrit speaking elite
Majority: Tamil speakers
Should Hindi not be accepted as national language?
Does it even make sense to discuss it since it all happened decades back?
The point I'm trying to make is, let a language be. Neither of us can change our ideologies. So no point debating or bringing them up here.
You can enjoy: Asare khalu sansare (the hilarious reference to Shiv/Vishnu staying in their sasural), or the Veer Ras kavita Khoob ladi mardani, or enjoy the the inspiration in Khudi ko kar buland itna. Each has their own joy.
This post is to discuss the intricacies of the Persian / Arabic pronunciation. It is NOT WRONG to pronounce otherwise. Yes, you don't care about the difference, which I accept, but don't make the allegation that I'm trying to build a hierarchy simply by discussing, because I'm not. It is supposed to be a simple discussion devoid of social, political and religious commentary.
How many in the next generation speak anything other than English? These details will sure be lost in a few decades.
