I have watched it & yes it is worth watching.
At first I did not like the fact that Anushka is being paired with Varun, because usually Varun overacts in his movies that irritates me, it can turn you off from watching such actors movies. But I watched this anyway & I was surprised that Varun did not overact in this movie. 😆I thought so anyway. An emotional & interesting movie. You just feel for the main leads. Both Anushka & Varun portrayed their roles brilliantly. I didn't think that I would praise Varun. 😆If he does not go OTT in his movies, he can be likable.

Thank you for the review❤️
Yes, I like Varun's off-screen personality a lot and his acting in few movies(Badlapur, October etc.) He has potential. Will watch it for him n Anushka
I watched it when it released so I don't remember particular moments, but I do remember enjoying it! It's very sweet and heart-warming. Nice family movie, as well 👍🏼
Very well worth a watch. Reminded me of those earlier feel good rom-coms which Yashraj used to produce in the 2000s.Varun and Anushka blended well with the supporting cast and the background. They belonged. Unlike say Karthik and Kriti who looked a bit too sophisticated and polished in Luka Chuppi. Their ups and downs and the family bickering was well done. But the climax was predictable and a huge letdown.
I liked the movie. 3/5 stars for me.
If they could have dialed down the melodrama a little it could have been very good.
I had read this review somewhere and found it true (Sharat Katariya directed both movies): neither is Chhav laaga song as good as Moh moh ke dhaage nor is the movie better than Dum lagaake haisha.
But nevertheless its a decent watch. Bonus: it's family friendly (maybe 2 - 3 slaps, that's it).
Its entertaining and worth a watch for sure!....Although becoz of the actors it might look artificial in the beginning, once you get involved it will be likeable. Its about hard working people and lower community people, which mmight not appeal for everyone.
If you like padman, super 30 and mission mangal, you will like it for sure. My parents liked it very much!

I loved Mission Mangal❤️
Is it the same director?
it's a good movie. but jhel at the same time. Anushka's acting esp.
memes are one thing, but she actually looked terrible in the role.
No not the same director...but the story can be inspiring like those movies. Thats the reason I placed along with those movies.
