Just how filmy are you?

So this morning, I was making some ice coffee and as I tried to take the whisk out of its holder to stir my coffee, it literally fell off and broke apart. And the first words out of my mouth was the song "nahin yeh ho nahin sakta". Posted below for the youngins who missed out on the weird 90s. Then, I started laughing, hysterically. I live alone, so no one saw this happen. But I had to share it since its bollywood related. I think the quarantine is finally destroying all my brain cells, ya'll. Randomly singing bollywood songs and saying bollywood dialogues randomly all the time also includes the typical bollywood dancing.

Extremely. I don't think I go even 2-3 hours without a film song or reference popping in my head, and if possible I would re-enact it.

One extreme example is: I went to the same red phone booth in London with my boyfriend to re-enact the small kissing scene from the second verse in the Saans video, while I played the song on my phone. He wasn't even desi. Mental.

I saw the songs of this movie recently and felt Twinkle resembles Madhubala. Especially the smile...

I literally have sound cloud or Saavn or YouTube playing desi music on my phone all the time. I can’t function well without it 😆 I can barely function well with it 🤣

Like when it rains, I'll put my hands out to catch the rain and I'll blush singing "Yeh Saazish Hai Boondon Ki..."

When I see a guy looking at me who's walking past me, I'll turn back and be like 'Palat'.

When my mum tries to emotionally blackmail me into doing some household chore, I'll go into the 80s dialogue mode and be like "Itna atyachar.." etc😆

Also, recently my parents were thinking of moving house, so i keep repeating Govinda's dialogue from Coolie No.1 that the house should be 100 feet below the ground and 200 feet above, and that i want a ACBCDC car.🤣

There are just so many.. i can go on and on.

When I am shocked mixed with Amusement, I go — Maaadhuri (Ishq Vishk dialogue.) I don’t say it loud coz I m not sure how many would remember ishq vishk.

E hata saavan ki ghata vala Govinda dialogue I use frequently with friends.

Me and hubby randomly break into 90s songs (pardesi, dhadkan type of songs) and daughter starts shouting — stop stop. 😆

Srk ke lambe lambe dialogues by heart hai. Ek ladki thi deewani is. Satra minute, kal ho na ho Etc etc. Amir’s shalini from DCH.

List is long. I am total Bw crazy. If I am watching movie, I have to hear all dialogues properly or I keep rewinding.
