I liked it when she kept saying
Nikhil aroraaaaaaaaaa😆
But yea a movie which shows the real life situations regarding live in relatationships and what happns when they get pregnant its sad when the guy doesn't take responsibility and told her to abort the baby and she was dealing with the struggle alone for awhile, hopefully there are good men out there who take full responsibility and take care of the mother and baby.
And the way he went HUMBARRRRR 😂
There was alot more that could have been done in the writing, instead of Saif being a jerk in the second half he should have taken some accountability.

I remember when this movie came out everyone was against it online but it’s honestly such a classic
And funny enough it’s still just as relevant in 2020!
I miss Preity a lot! I miss seeing women on screen actually. It’s so sad we’re stuck with Pre-teen looming twinkies now
Yeah I remember the content was too racy for back then. My friend and I wanted to watch it so bad for the songs and Preity and we got so mad when our moms went to watch it without us 😂
I was genuinely surprised when I so how well made and relevant the film is when I saw it for the first time few years ago. I think it is the best NRI based film and compared to MDK and NNN, it wasn't cheesy af and no hamming.
Its sad Preity never got her due in Bollywood. Thats why I hope her American show does well...shes got the lead role in that.
I have alot of respect for her specially since she is one of the most educated people in the industry. She has a Masters degree in Criminal Psychology... that's like nuts! Also I couldn't believe she was 30 when she did Salaam Namastey, I could've sworn she looked 23 😂
Love all songs of Salaam Namastey! ❤️
❤️ I love Salaam Namaste so damn much. ❤️ Glad you also enjoyed it so much. Just wish I could get my childhood back to watch it with the same enthusiasm as back then. Man, where have those days gone. My only regret about growing up is that all my cherished memories have stayed back in my childhood.
Nikhil Aroraaaaa ,Humberrr inorder to annoy each other was comical.

The thing that struck me the most is how the Indians weren't white on screen. Sure Preity and Saif are fair but nowadays there seems to be this filter that really whitewashes everyone. That filter honestly makes actors look like they don't have blood in their systems...pale af!
Yeah things have gotten worse instead of improving. Lets see what happens now post quarantine...if bollywood changes their approach or not.

Stereotypes are deep rooted in Hindi cinema. Also, I don't see the industry changing it's approach to anything. They'll still continue with the scripts set to take off.
The days of urban rom coms are long gone. Though, I watched Jawaani Jaaneman and it was reminiscent of the films I grew up watching and adore.
I love salaam namaste!
Its so much fun.
The only annoying thing was jaaved jaafery and that sorry sorry lady
