Salaam Namastey- anybody remembers?!

I rewatched the film on Prime and now I feel it was such a well made rom com! Sid Anand should make more such films.

Saif was so suave and stylish. No one can play the uber cool NRI like him.

Preity was so freakin gorgeous. Such a natural performer! I remember reading a post on hers few days ago and Bollywood hasn't found her replacement. She was truly one of a kind. I hope her American TV show does well.

Their chemistry was so great. And nothing seemed forced if ukwim.

And what a banger soundtrack. My Dil Goes Mmmm is still a fave ❤️ and the title song was such a party favourite! 🤪

Is it just me or were the outfits worn by women back then were more sexy and stylish despite showing skin? Or maybe it has to do with the fact that lead actresses were women and not teens trying to be adults 😆

Nick and Ambaarrr. Miss these kind of fun movies. Saif Preity have great chemistry and charm and loved the songs too ❤️

The songs from the movie were fabulous. I still love listening to them. My dil goes mmm, salaam namaste, what's going on were all fun songs. I love, love tu jahan. Still one of my favorite sad songs. One of Vishal and Shekhar's most underrated work.

As for the movie it was the usual boy maturing relationship story but very well done. There were some ridiculous things I remember from the movie that still make me laugh, their two successful career paths that in my opinion would require full time effort and Australian Jaaved Jaffrey.

But yea a movie which shows the real life situations regarding live in relatationships and what happns when they get pregnant its sad when the guy doesn't take responsibility and told her to abort the baby and she was dealing with the struggle alone for awhile, hopefully there are good men out there who take full responsibility and take care of the mother and baby.

I remember when this movie came out everyone was against it online but it’s honestly such a classic

And funny enough it’s still just as relevant in 2020!

I miss Preity a lot! I miss seeing women on screen actually. It’s so sad we’re stuck with Pre-teen looming twinkies now

One of the best rom coms.Saif is best suited for such roles..no one does these type of roles better than him.I rem I was a fan of Saif-Priety’s chemistry.They seemed so natural as Nick n Amber n their fights in the movie was hilarious.Arshad n the that girl who played his wife were hilarious too.Good movie.

I only like My Dil Goes Hmm . It just wasn’t the kind of movie that I like .
