To be honest, I am happy that he is getting movies. Why an outsider who is superbly talented, who struggled a lot to be a lead hero should stop getting movies just because of the box office. He has a national award. Didn't get movies on platter, made his own place and won national award for low budget movie Shahid. When Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Pandey and many other nepotism kids with below average or no acting skills are getting movies then why not RKR. He is a purely talented person who doesn't have great looks but only acting skills, I am glad that directors and producers are still trusting his talent (and that's a great sign amongst people like KJO ). Even Akshay Kumar had his series of flops, Ranbir Kapoor had his series of flops. But they all are getting high budget projects. Arjun Kapoor still got Panipat despite so much disappoinment.
I will anytime prefer an outsider who is talented like RKR, who struggled to get in there on his own than any below average nepotism kid.
About Vikrant Massey ans other new comers, they should get chance but over nepotism, or below average actors, with whom the whole BW is filled, not over talents like RKR.
About Audience rejection, there is always a small or big or certain Audience for every actor. This doesn't mean good actors should stop getting work. Irrfan too was rejected by audience if we count box office numbers except Hindi Medium but he was loved by the audience in other way. It's not always about numbers. Also, it's script and content which works morw than the actor, and RKR needs a good script and he will be back. May not be commercial but with critics
