People who watch ITV rarely watch Webseries and People who watch webseries rarely watch ITV and there is a section who watch both for entertainment 🤷‍♀️ if the shift to webseris would have had taken place then there would be finite shows first on ITV which didn't take place yet! Also everyone would have been hankering after webseries. Netflix is rarely watched by 10% of the urban population and as per hindi shows in Netflix there's hardly more than a countful. Hotstar comes next but has only maximum of 10 webseries most of the hotstar viewing comes from Sports & GOT when it aired. Alt has more Hindi shows than the two. MX player Amazon Prime too has shows the latter more than the former and other apps too are slowly coming into webseries mode but are rather airing the independence shows more which would have rather made home at YT.

India has the highest number of population and most of the audience be it urban or rural areas prefer watching soaps. Which is why Nagin & Big Boss are so hit and so now is Ramayan and Mahabharat. Or else people would have been watching it on YT as they are uploaded there since ages. 🤷‍♀️

Romantic Touchy Scene atleast i dont think agle 5-6 maine mai they will shoot .. subtle sei inko kam chalana parega .. like akhon akhon mai ikrar in a word bajaj type ka scene . without touch being romantic n creating magic.. now actors jiskay romance strong point hai acting kay only unke liye toughest job .. without being strong level romantic scene how they would able to pull audience by their charm .. ab iyeahi competition honge har ek show mai ..

I believe, the web shows , except a few are absolute rubbish ,unhealthy and promote something else than good watchable stories. They r only selling filth in the name of creativity. It is assumed that adult content easily sells. I have nothing against it but if adult content is used to "sell " your product , means it has no credibility of it's own. Ek did a good job initially but now all her shows across all platforms r silimiar ,bas on web she is free to show what audience apparently want to see🤢

Anyhow. There is an audience for all platforms and itv is huge. They cant have finite series concept here..whatever works , they would want to extend it till audience gets bored.who doesnt like money ..ha ha.ha...like jinn...and those who try it , audience will throw tamatar on them for ending it like that..like that heroine doctor serial gone bad..

I loved ramayan mahabharata, the old ones but I dont tune in everyday to yt to watch it regularly..when it was aired the country was distressed. They needed to calm ppl down and also make the new gen watch them . It worked . Good for them. I unsubscribed star plus n tuned into dd news ..n discovered how good it is , compared to other channels..

It's a vicious circle for itv serials and audience.. we crib then we watch then we crib more but not quit.. We cant do without one of them . Dono hi karna hai. So there is audience for all types of serials..majority works in democracy no..
