Episode 21

Malhar made her sit on the sofa and went into the kitchen to get her some juice. As she sat sipping the drink, he sat down on the floor and gently placed his hand on her belly, "Meri princess."

"Aap ko kaise pata girl hai? Boy bhi ho sakta hai."

"Bilkul nahi, ye meri princess hai aur tum dekhna ye apne Baba se hi jyada pyar karegi."

"Kyun? Aapse jyada pyar kyun karegi?" she asked annoyed.

"Tumhara already ek chamcha hai na... Moksh.."

"Malharji mere Pillu ke baare mein kuch kaha to.." She didn't finish her sentence as she saw Moksh.

Moksh saw his dad and ran to him happily, "Baba !!" Malhar lifted him up and Moksh hugged his father's neck, "Aap kab aaye, maine aapko bohot miss kiya."

"Acha ! Lekin tumhe toh mere bina maza aa raha tha na?"

"Nai… woh aap mujhe burger, noodles, pizza khane nahi dete na." he told innocently.

"Hmm.. in sab cheezon ko roz khane se Moksh ka chotu sa pet kharaab nahi ho jayega….?"

"Sorry Baba." he pecked his father's cheek.

After Moksh was dropped in school Malhar took his wife to the gynaecologist. They were both seated at the waiting area. Kalyani was nervous and held his hand tightly. She saw a few other couples seated there waiting to be called. Some of the women were in their last trimester, their stomach fully grown and she wondered how she would look.

"Mrs Kalyani Rane", the nurse called out and they both went in. Malhar was sitting beside the examination bed where Kalyani was laying down while the doctor performed the scan. She pointed out the small sized dot to both of them after which Malhar was asked to wait at the doctor's desk while the doctor continued examining and questioning Kalyani.

The doctor came out and sat at her desk facing Malhar while the nurse was drawing Kalyani's blood sample."Mr Rane, everything seems fine. She is healthy. I'll give her some vitamins and a medicine to help her with the morning sickness" she began writing a prescription.

Kalyani came out from behind the curtains and sat beside her husband. The doctor then explained the do's and don'ts to both of them and the details of routine check up every month. "You can collect the blood reports by tomorrow and I'll see you again."

It was lunch time when they came back home. Kalyani was feeling hungry and Malhar made her something to eat. She didn't like the smell or taste but he made sure she ate. Kalyani slept for a while after lunch. When Malhar and Moksh returned from school they found Kalyani was throwing out her lunch.

"Aai.. Kya hua tumhe?"

Malhar quickly held and rubbed her back comfortingly. "Moksh Aai ke liye pani lekar aao."

Moksh quickly ran to the kitchen and got a glass of water for his mom.

"Baba, Aai ko kya ho gaya? Burger khane ke wajah se hua 😯?" he looked at his dad questioningly.

"Aisa kuch nahi hai Pillu, mai teek hun." she smiled and looked at Malhar. "Malharji, Pillu ko bata dijiye."

"Moksh, tumhare liye ek surprise hai."

"Surprise? Kya surprise? Jaldi bataiye…."he jumped.

"Tumhe yaad hai tumne Bappa se kuch manga tha? Bappa ne Moksh ki baat maan li."

Moksh looked thoughtfully at his dad before realising what his dad meant. His face radiated happiness, "Sachie Baba? Mujhe bhi baby milne wala hai?"

"Haan beta, ab hum dono ko Aai ka khayal rakhna chahiye. Karega na mera help?"

Moksh nodded his head happily, went near Kalyani and touched her tummy. "Aai Lekin tumhara tummy toh same size hai, Arav ne kaha uski mummy ka tummy bohot bada tha?"

"Ye Arav tumhe kuch jyada hi information de raha hai.. " Malhar growled.

Kalyani held Moksh's chin, "Pillu ka baby abhi bohot chotu sa hai. Tum baby se roz baat karna fir woh jaldi bada hoga."

Moksh kissed his mother's stomach, "Baby jaldi bade ho jao, mujhe tumhare saath khelna hai."

"Hoga nahi hogi… " Malhar stressed his point.

"Baba, boy hoga tabhi to mere saat khel sakta hai. Girl kaise khelegi mere saat?"

"Kyun nahi khel sakti, girl bhi sab kuch khel sakti hai."

"Aai boy baby hai na.. "

"Maine kaha na girl hai…"

Kalyani was looking back and forth at father and son who continued arguing. "Chup…..!! Ekdum chup. Kaise lad rahe ho dono ! Agar aise hi ladte rahe toh baby ko tum dono se pyar nahi hoga."

"Sorry !!!!" Both father and son voiced together.

"Baby ab aap dono se katti hai, use bhook lagi hai lekin aap dono ko apni jagde ki padi hai." Kalyani twisted her lips at them.

Moksh went to watch cartoons not wanting to anger his mom and baby anymore. Malhar got up, "Main kuch banata hun…."

"Kuch tasty, chatpata banaiye…jaise ki pakore aur imli ki chutney." she smacked her lips just thinking about it.

Malhar glared at her, "K...ya... chahiye tumhe? Doctor ne kaha hai healthy food khane ki liye aur wahi milega tumhe."

"Malharji….ye sab main nahi maang rahi hun, aapke baby ko chahiye. Aap itna bhi nahi karenge uske liye." she batted her eyes at him.

"Acha !! To ab ye formula use karogi. Teek hai tumhe pakore aur chutney tabhi milegi jab tum ye fruits aur doodh khatam karogi kyunki banane me thoda wakt lagega aur tab tak meri baby bhooki nahi reh sakti."

Kalyani had no choice so she ate the fruits and gulped the glass of milk unwillingly which she threw up after some time. Later when she got what she wanted to eat, she gobbled it up hungrily and licked her fingers. She didn't throw that out, "Dekha Malharji, doodh sab bahar nikal gaya sirf mere pasand ka khana rehta hai tummy me. Mere dono babies ko wahi pasand hai jo mujhe pasand hai."

"Tumhe seedha karne ke liye Aai hi teekh hai. Waise ab unhe bhi bata dena chahiye."

He made a video call to Anupriya and gave her the good news. She was ecstatic, "Kalyani….meri bachi…", her eyes were brimming with tears of happiness. "Bohot khush hun mai.. ab tumhe apna aur iss bache ka bhi khayal rakhna hoga, koi bahar ka khana nahi khaogi. Jo bhi chahiye tumhe mujhse kaho."

"Aai !!" Kalyani's cheeks were glowing pink. "Tum fikar mat karo aai, Malharji hai na mera dhyan rakhne keliye."

"Hmm.. Malhar tumhe bhi main samjha doongi use kya kya khana chahiye."

"Bilkul Aai.." he smiled naughtily looking at his wife.

Later Anupriya was on the phone with Aao Saheb who instructed her on what diet should be given to an would be mother. When Sarthak had come, she couldn't wait any longer and asked him to drive her to Malhar's place to meet her daughter.

Moksh ran to Sarthak, "Aazoba, mujhe baby Milne wala hai. Woh mujhe Dada bulayega. Mai Kal apne sare friends ko batane wala hun."

Sarthak patted his grandson and congratulated the would be parents. "Malhar !! Kalyani ka khayal rakhna hoga tumhe, use koi bhi kaam mat karne do."

Anupriya gave the box of dry fruits ladoos that she had made and instructed Malhar on what foods Kalyani could eat. "Dhyan rakhna Kalyani, koi bahar ka khana nahi. Jo sab Aao Saheb ne bola hai, waise hi follow karna aur Malhar ko jyada mat satana."

Kalyani was boggled by all the restrictions posed on her eating habits and eyed the ladoos with distaste. After they had left and Moksh had gone to sleep, she turned her frustration on her husband, "Aapko badi hasi aa ri hai na meri halat pe? Mujhe nahi pata tha ki itna sab restrictions hoga."

"Kalyani, ye sab maa aur bache ki health ke liye zaroori hai."

"Kya faida ye sab khane ka jab 10 minutes me bahar nikal jaata hai. Aur ye sab mujhe acha bhi nahi lag raha."

"Hmm.. Lekin usse pehle thoda to mil jaayega mere princess ko." he kneeled down on the floor and kissed her stomach.

"Haan, Ab toh aap use hi pyar karenge, mujhse toh nahi…" she twisted her lips.

Malhar sniffed around, "Kuch jalne ki bu aa ri hai..." and looked her face.

"Awww, meri Jaan, jealous ho gayi…… thoda sa tumse bhi karta hun." he showed a bite size with his fingers.

"Thoda sa, thoda sa?? Hunh… 😡😡Acha !! Ab aap dekhiye mai kaise aapko har wakt daudaati hun." she replied angrily.

"Isme kaunsi nayi baat hai, woh to tum maa bete waise bhi karte ho."

She got very irritated, pushed him away, and walked onto the kitchen searching for something to eat. She found a packet of chips and opened it.

He took away the chips from her. "Raat me itna oily food mat khao. Bhook lagi hai to fruits kha lo please……"

"Mai jo bhi khaon aapko kya."

"Pagli kahi ki….tumse nahi toh aur kisse pyar hai mujhe..Mere liye tum dono ka health important hai. Ye baat apne dimaag me ghusa lo." he said tapping her forehead with his finger.

"Toh bataiye kitna pyar hai aapko mujhse.." she asked childishly.

He spread his arms as wide as he could, "isse bhi jyada.. batana mushkil hai."

"Hmm…..yeh baat kabhi bhuliyega mat."

He nodded his head then cut some fruits which she ate out of his hands. Later when they slept she had her head on his chest, her leg on top of his and his arm circled her protectively.

** Writing this part took me long, too many interruptions in between. I wrote it twice but I was myself not satisfied so scrapped it. Finally I've posted and hope it's good enough. Do let me know if you like it.

They could have shown like since sampu and kallu ka dna match maximum he as both their parents are siblings like aparana , Atul and waman madhuri are siblings na so match is more for sampu kallu

They could have either used kalayani or could have made up like even kalma biological kid since kallus dna is like sampu could save pillu

We could have had kalmas own nimbu

Di aapke FF ithne pyaare he itne acche he na mai aapko kya hi batavu

I want all the trimesters to move slowly and in detail read kalmas each step towards their second parenthood with their cuto pillu helping them
