It is a difficult situation , IMO the only way out is testing.

Testing won't help much if people are bent on breaking lockdown and quarantine norms without valid reasons. There is no sense of responsibility among the vast number of public. How much can the state and central govts. do if the public is hell bent on taking it lightly. The police are exhausted and so best is paramilitary forces should start patrolling all areas in the Red zones and people and vehicles are detained at least for a few days if they are found loitering around. The fear of the virus does not seem to be worrying the public but hopefully fear of the army will create the necessary fear.

Yesteray in my society,in c wing, one person tested covid positive .his wife and son tested negative.he was taken .then our society contineously contacting bmc to come and seal d wing,to check d people who had come in contact with him.now almost 24 hours r over, still no response from bmc.even no bmc members come to sanitize d area after committing to come.

so in morning ,by 11.our society called for private agency and got our entire building, all wings, lobies sanitized and cleaned.

our committy had a metting 2 hours back and now our chairman and secretary had put certain noms for all of us to follow.

as they said ,now we r only our protectors.so we will have our lockdown of our building.

c wing members r strictly not allowed to go out. even those who have come in contact with him r asked to b quarantine in their resp homes

even other wing members r also asked to go only when necessary.

so guys, apanach apale rakshak.now we r only protecting ourselves.

So whats the latest. When do u guys think tv crew will resume their shooting?

Though we all know its never goin to be normal henceforth esp always a threat of some or the other virus, its a shame we hv to live under this constant fear of some calamity.

I am so longing to go back to our pre corona life😞

No fear no mask no fear if travelling .it looks like we would never be free moving forward

I am so looking fwd to marathi daily soaps🙄

Wish we could erase this bad year forever😫

Dont want to spend rest of life in fear wearing masks not able to touch or hug anyone

Fear of traveling will remain; coronavirus or not. Masks will be part of our life going forward. Mental health will have to be addressed as soon as we find a cure and a vaccine. All those who are immuno compromised will have to make major lifestyle changes. Entertainment and socializing will be different. And we have to work towards making the most of what we can. Take care all of you.

I too Remember both these serials.

From Trishna I remember Sangeeta Handa and Kittu Gidwani. The whole star cast was great. Curiously what I remember the most is Sangeeta Handa's nose. Nice, straight and sharp. And her smile.

I think she had a brother Vinit Handa who had some kind of TV show where he interviewed actors.

Tarun dhanrajgir was heartthrob of women. Trishna was a take in Pride and Prejudice.

Kashish was good too. Sudesh Berry and Malvika Tiwari. I think Malvika Tiwari goes blind. She looked really beautiful.

But the serial I loved the most was Subah.

Trishna is on youtube. Here is the first episode.

Thanks for the video links. Good old Doordarshan 😊

Back then we knew the names of models. Now it's all tv and movie actors who also do modeling in tv commercials or ramp or magazine covers.

Sir I don't quite agree to the fact that Army should be utilised to create fear amongst citizens... Army as an institution is the last resort only in cases of internal security due to ANEs or help to civil aid administration in case of natural disasters like earthquake etc where things go beyond the reach of civil services..Else The forces be left alone to train and prepare against external aggression...For the present pandemic we need to strengthen the acts or entrust more powers with the police or devise any novel idea that might suit to curb the menace stated by you in your esteemed post...
