If she wants to make it big or be successful she will need to find someone big to support her. Otherwise they’ll just keep her around to elevate Ananya’s and Janhvi’s

I don't even find her pretty. She is a poor actress and singer. She is a nobody. She won't be getting any films in future.

She's checks every box for a good actor in terms of her abilties. And if she got a HW agent and got to broadway, she would get better opportunities. She's the true all-rounder with her abilities but there's not a lot of good opportunities coming her way b/c she ain't a nep-baby.

She must be having some connections in the West, specially since she got shortlisted for Aladdin. Bollywood opportunities for outsiders are too low now unlike the 2000s. Plus who knows what the entertainment industry will be like post the pandemic seeing that social distancing might end up becoming a norm. There doesn't seem to be a typical formula for a hit these days. None of the fluffy stuff in BWood also work.

Even in the west, unless its Marvel, DC, a franchise like Star Wars/Jumanji, a musical it will end up making money. Films like Bride Wars, Easy A, Devil Wears Prada would end up on Netflix if they would have released now. So either superheroes/VFX or else its better off on streaming platforms. Even American TV seems to be evolving...the last hit shows that really stayed in people's minds were TBBT, TVD, GOT, Will and Grace, PLL, 2 Broke Girls (where ratings were substantially high). After Thirteen Reasons Why, now even that formula has gone to OTTs. Disney also does not have the craze that it used to when I was a child...and that was the peak imo (Suite Life, HSM, Hannah Montana, Camp Rock).

I guess the music industry might end up getting affected the least...and Tara sings very well.

I have not seen the movie, nothing special about her, she looks like a teenager. But she’s better looking than the girl who is over hyped and star kid

What I don’t understand is why Tara is the only newcomer, some people have a problem with just because she is getting support? There are lots of newcomers out there who get support too. People think Sara, Ananya, Jhanvi will last so where are all the spots questioning their talent and looks? This is like the third post on Tara and just because she is getting some support here.

Tara is very beautiful, has been credited for her acting in marjaavan and she was loved in her Disney shows, she can sing very well too. But criticising all this is fine, as it’s just my opinion and people’s opinion differ. I personally think she will do very well and that’s not because I want her to, it is because I see potential in her. I didn’t like her in SOTY but I loved her in marjavaan so it’s not like she is just a pretty face. She has potential hence why people think she can do well.

To be honest she wasn’t bad. Her character had no air. Even if I wanted to root for her character I couldn’t because it was such a faltu one, no beginning and no end. Ananya had a whole father history, no birthdays, love story with tiger, an actual ending. Her character wasn’t anything special either but it had a subtle start to finish. Tiger toh was hero, had his kicks and MJ movies to please the world.

The fact they gave a ballet sequence to Ananya while Tara is a reined ballet dancer speaks a lot. Tara’s solo song didn’t even get a song launch unlike the other ones and even then, Ananya was added. Even Sara rejected Tara’s role when she failed to get ananyas. And radhika madan also said she had auditioned for ananyas role only but didn’t get it due to looks apparently.

Tara is really good looking in my opinion and has a very angelic and graceful presence. Her role in SOTY 2 sucked so can't judge her for that and she was ok in Marjaavan. She is probably the best looking from the current lot

Ironic how her and Disha are the best looking yet get the least opportunities..
