What's so special about Tara Sutaria?

This forum had hyped her up quite a bit, so I caught her first movie SOTY 2 last night and boy! was I disappointed. She was the weakest link in the movie, and that's saying a lot, considering Tiger was in the movie! She made Ananya seem like a veteran in comparison.

She's pretty, but that's about it. No acting skills whatsoever. Plastic to the core. And she is not going to sustain herself in BW by being as average as she is, considering she's not a nepo product.

People here act like she is the next diva in the making. But she barely has any spark or screen presence! She's as bland as they make 'em.

I think she should focus on her singing talent and become a singer. She actually has potential in that area. She can't act to save her life. And as for looks, Disha and Ananya also have looks, and can act better than her ( yes, even Disha can act better!).

She is just going to be one of those flop pretty faces...my prediction. She doesn't have the luxury of being as bad as she is, when she's an outsider. Sara and Jhanvi can afford to be below-average, with their careers being curated. Tara is an outsider, so she needs to step up her acting skills if she wants to stick around.
