Background themes for characters

Hi guys

In StarPlusBharat, for each major character there was a special background theme music along with a sanskrit verse.

What I want to know is the source of these hymns/verses. I don't think these would be created by the SP creative team but must be picked from some where.

For e.g.:

Panchali's BGM is the "Kumari chaapi panchali" verse.

Karna has "Suto va sut putrovayo" verse

Arjuna has "Gandivadhaari Arjuna"

Then there are verses independent of any character such as "Samgacchasva pitrbhi"

So does anyone have any idea from where have the creatives taken these verses?

If its from the MBH itself, which Parva?
