Arey yes, Pratham Mittal of season 1. But his character' s start was a bit .

Hiten was actually awesome as a romantic lead, Par Ekta was too focused on using him as an Adarsh beta/businessman/pita character in every other show.

Even in Kyuki, the entire sequence of him giving up Nandani was his strongest act as an actor IMO. Itna dard. The guy made me cry 🥺.

Hiten is one of my favs and I also love Hiten-Gauri jodi both in reel and real..Kutumb was such a huge hit and the pairing was so successful..

Btw someone mentioned Kashish serial on twitter an old DD serial from 90s, DD is uploading the episodes everyday @ 8pm..I watched 5 episodes and its really good, u guys should take a look..the hero was probably the first angry young man of Indian tv 😆 it was simple and sweet, no unnecessary twist and turn and only few episodes👍🏼 the lead heroine Malvika Tiwari is so pretty..

So Rajeev is still popular without doing much TV or movies.

Ekta just loved butchering fan favourite couples. Both these characters were so badly ruined. Karan was such a strong character, but once the track of him giving up Nandani was over, they made him spineless. Poor guy would just listen to all the allegations made against him and cry.Even when Nandani needed someone the most they made Tulsi give her all the support and Karan was there just like a side character.

Nandani toh was legit brutalized, she was tortured, raped , put in a coma, turned into a murderer. And this was a character who was started off as an aspiring journalist.

I do not understand how did he pass the audition to be even cast as someone like sujal, beyond my comprehension that Ekta chose this guy to replace Rajeev.

Shabbir-Rajeev had a great bonding, and I really loved the onscreen chemistry of the brothers too, not cheesy yet something to always remember. Even I loved Chaitanya as Akshat, his character was refreshing, someone who was a sujal fanboy, after 200 episodes of everyone hating on sujal, finally Akshat arrives to realize what a gen Sujal actually was.

I loved Akshat (Chaitanya) but I never liked Charu.

In one of his interviews Rajeev mentioned that when he was younger, he had broken his nose while pulling a swimming stunt. He underestimated the depth of the pool and tried putting one of those swimming stunts that swimmers do in competitions. He was laughing at himself for being silly enough to pull that. End result he hurt his nose bad. This is from Rajeev's own interview.

Another true story: Gurpreet had to undergo a nose surgery and they sorta broke his nose to resemble Rajeev's broken nose.

The media had widely covered it that time, I found a Tellychakkar article too, they are on Ekta's side so they have used 'supposedly/allegedly', but a lot of news portals/channels (SBS) covered this news then in no uncertain terms. Ekta is mad. She had also made Aditee Gupta go to a dentist and get stuff done to correct her smile before she launched her. Another actor had gone on record to say that Ekta asks for actors kundlis and her astrologer goes through them; only if she gets a green signal from the astro does she cast the actor.

The only aspect of Kashish's character that annoyed me (however majority of Ekta Kapoors characters piss me off 😆) is the fact that she always was ready to assume the very worst of Sujal. He copped all her slaps, her mean words and harsh rejection ALL.THE.TIME. Also it kind of got repetitive that she kept getting engaged/married (fake) and was basically always breaking his heart one way or another. A lot of situations would have been evaded if SHE just put her trust in Sujal and told him the bloody truth.

But I have to say Sujal and Angad (KYPH) are two main fictional characters that remained very faithful to loving the heroine (despite having their heart broken a billion times). They were ALWAYS ready to forgive them and start anew - which I LOVED.
