The film should've been a big HIT but the climax ruined it. Was way too long & stretched out. While Bobby was fine until the climax, he just didnt have it in him to carry the whole climax. The extended climax required a seasoned actor. Imagine if it was Sunny Deol with the emotional outburst instead of Bobby. Nobody wanted to see Sunny lying on a hospital bed for half an hour in those days. Also the fact that Sunny had just done the same film a few months ago(Pyar Koi Khel Nahin) ruined Dillagi's box office chances despite being quite a well made film(sans the climax).

PS: Like most 90s girl, had a huge crush on Bobby as well even if most will not admit it today. 🤣

I had not watched dillagi till a few months back

After watching gupt last year i watched it

Bobby is good but Sunny deol spoiled movie with his direction

A mature director would handle it better

Ending was too immature and OTT

Bobby had long hairs in initial scenes than short hairs

Bobby was a typical college guy who does not want responsibility or to marry so soon

I found it odd that urmila wants to marry in college only - first finish your college and work few years girl

All heroines in bollywood have one goal to marry after college? That too in 90s where almost 40% girls used to go to work(high rate than todays 20%) after school/college
