Definitely! When we get a good one, we become happy and the same way crappy ones make you annoyed - that's all.
That's why I said I don't blame Mona. Because she was quite close with the earlier cast also and it's not possible to thank everyone every time. Besides, it was probably some live video. So she can definitely take credit for her contribution or call it her show and show overall affection. There's no harm in it.
I guess I was kind of annoyed with the Shezaan article so felt sad about Mona too. But as I said, a very simple statement can look demeaning depending on the presentation. As an original fan, it was bound to feel bad.
I haven't yet watched that IV, so I am not gonna talk about it. And I know as fans we go overboard sometimes despite our best wishes. Otherwise I do find Shezaan fake. Like I remember there was this segment featuring Mona and Niyati and they were asked several questions on the cast. Some questions were like - both of them answered not sure, everyone is hard working or everyone does that. Shezaan was like Mona comes first and leaves last. I mean - maska bhi ek hadd tak Accha lagta hain.
I simply laughed out loudly when he said he doesn't go by script and this is the second time of portraying a mentally challenged person, so he is polishing. I was like - Dude! Start following the script. 🤣
As far as gratitude is concerned, some things can't be taught. You can't be successful but you still be a super sweet person. While you can be successful but lack the basic manners.
So I don't expect everyone to be genuine. But like you said, at least boast when you are doing great or have least amount of contribution. So much of superiority complex isn't gonna do good in the long run.
You might remember a show called Kkavyanjali. Once I visited the initial pages of the forum and got to know that the original ML was replaced simply because Ekta was mad at him and it was a huge deal because usually she is very cooperative with her actors. But the actor did the blunder there. So now you can bask in the success of others but whether you can continue it with this sort of attitude - only time will tell.
