I started watchin naagin for rashami nd i hav to say its terrible. Its so shoddily edited with a watever story. It lacks strong negative characters, i mean is dat bunch of pre pubescent kpop boys supposed to b d antagonists. Naagin1 had sudha chandran nd d actor hu plays her husband.

About VK i think bad boy roles suit him more than this kinda goody two shoes roles.

I recon many things you said, none of the leads fit their shoe.... Entire cast including new additions is not made for fantasy drama except for sayantani but guess they ousted her too 🤔 VJ and nia have good chemistry, ekta knows what audience want but this remarriage was entirely unnecessary. IDK the season's doom is a teamwork too..... This has no story, I bet even the actors are confused.. Nothing! Naagin always was number one since week 1, now it's struggling and they're experimenting with TRPs

There is something missing in this season. The spark which was in season 1, season 3 totally missing here. Season 2's spark was only Rudra. Sorry here I can't find the spark between lead pairs.

This is the first Naagin show but love VJ since Udaan.

Have been watching but was off the forum and social media but this topic about the choice of ML that too of my favo Hero Vijayendra had to pull me into.

A show survives not on pairs or leads be it male or female but mainly with storyline and also the depth.

it has to be accepted Naagin 1 has always been commended upon as the concept was fresh and new so it brought the WOW factor.

Three seasons passed by and the concept is always about revenge but there is paucity or exhaustion of creativity so WOW factor is diminishing as it is a normal tendency to refer to the old pages. Story I will not talk about.

But with regards to VJ.... he is a phenomenal actor and yes he is excellent in dark / grey but that does not mellow him down when he does the white or positive shade.

He has that persona and aura and the swag and attitude and he can make the character relate as he breathes life into it.

Example was the short stint of Madhav Sharma in the otherwise sinking ship Sufiyana Pyaar Mera. Though a simple character he brought the layers excellently.

Emotional scenes and actions are his forte and he is indeed an expression king and his voice modulation would make anyone awe at him.

Coming to his casting in Naagin.... sure his layers in Sastri Sisters, Udaan (where he made an indelible mark as Suraj Rajvanshi) and the latest in Sufiyaana had made the producer and the Franchise choose him. It cannot be denied he has made more fans as even in this straight novice business tycoon Dev.

About the chemistry both are doing good as being brought out by the directors.

Appreciation of leads chemistry depends on the fans too

Each and every actor has his own fd and also the mark but defintely VJ is not a bad Lead for Naagin brand.

i feel the script is not upto mark actually and dev character is not well written just like rocky while VJ and KV both are amazing in their roles

sometimes if the character is not written well the actor can't do much

ritik rudra mahir were well written characters thus arjun and kinshuk and pvp can pull it off...

sometimes its abt how the character graph is being written

N4 has a great cast better than N3 but the script and character writing is so poor

this is one reason i stop watching N4...

Naagin boys are really good in their roles be it arjun kv pvp kinshuk and vj,they are good its just that the script and character graph for rocky nikanj and dev parekh is not upto mark

As naagin fans Not agree with you, all actor are good, you said you're Sukor fan, you know how good actor he is.

In naagin problem no any character written well, experiments with story not helping for character graph. Both lead character look confuse in their love life, may be leap one reason, writing team never write story for them 😒(past all season different MU) that's the reason something is missing. Hopefully after leap team write story for them. I like Dev but this second marriage why???

IMO only VJ understand his character very well from first episode, He fit Dev chracter. But some time actor can't do anything if the writing and screenplay is bad.

Now whenever Brinda got full screen space , fight , revenge , Tandav and BrinDev romance TRP increased but new track or character dropped the TRP ! But hope now Few of the MU would clear and story would be on track this week !

Jasmin was perfect as a naagin, I.e. a positive Naagin. Maybe She outshone Nia there as she was actually being praised for her performance. If Jasmin being positive were being liked more given the fact that her character is more interesting, it would have left Nia’s character nowhere hence to fix that writers thought let’s just butcher Nayantara and make her the villain. Hence that is why Nayantara was made human and Brinda was revealed too early.

Do u really think VJ as underperforming.. omg! Joke of the century..I am not his fan and this is my first show of Vj and I should say he is splendid along with Nia..if someone says nia and vj as below average then it's purely of jealousy towards thier favorite especially jasmin fans..idk about u dear, but in this forum those posts against Nia was completely out of insecurity and jealousy!!! Bassss!!

Totally agree with you. Casting of this season is super good. The best casting of Naagin series I would say.

Coming to leads, I am watching both VJ and Nia for the first time. Though I have seen them here and there in their previous shows Udaan or IMMJ, I think they are very impressive as Brinda and Dev.
